Hey, I'm new here but i recently found a PB amp. It says that it raises PB while walking long distances. Does anyone know what this is and wat it does? BTW it is an item which goes in an armor slot.
Sorry if this is a stupid Q..i am new. |

PB/amp does what its name signifies. It increases your PB (photon bar). In other words, you yellow bar will increase by walking around eventually. Sadly, walking around increases it so slow, it's practically useless. There are stronger ones, but I forgot the names.

This item has won the 'Everquest's Everlame award'. But then again, its about 100x as powerful as any item in EQ /smirk.

What about the tp items that say they do the same but for tp? Are they worth using? I was considering it for my force char.

From my understanding it would be like meditating standing up in EQ. IE would take about an hr and a half to get full TP from empty.

Does having 2 make it increase twice as fast? If so maybe having 4 is useful....but then if having multiple doesn't help more than one...

Yes but if I am correct having 4 of them vs. having 4 mind+ ,materia makes them quite trivial.
