What does that do? Does it cure everything?

It prevents any adverse effect, such as paralysis, confusion, "slow-mo", poison, etc... It's available on DC v1 and v2 and PC. On GCN and Xbox you can find different gears for different adverse effects: Cure/Shock, Cure/Poison, etc...

Yes... one ST's brutal errors in balancing v2 was state/maitenence. All adverse effects completely whiped off the map, simplifying PSO's strategy more so that it already was. Its funny though, when I started playing GC version and I found out there wasn't state/main I was really pissed off. That items spoiled me SOOOOOOOO much. But now I'm glad its gone, the game is more interesting now.

I wouldn't mind not having state/maintanence anymore if anti would cure the status conditions it used to.
