Is there ne way to prevent stop an underway fsod? How does it occur? y does the game freeze? if that is known, a remedy can be found(i hope)

I recently attempted 2 remove my card just as it started... i lost my stuff...

Play offline.

You really think fsod would still occur if we knew a way to stop them.

Your safe offline, as long as you don't do anything stupid. Like plugging in a controller while the memory card is saving ( = corruption).

Umm, what if the power goes out when you have 2 memory cards in playing multiplayer (using 1 character from each memory card). Double FSOD-X. Somehow I was able to fix them both though, that pulling it out thing probably.

I open the disk cover and pull out my card and shut it off. That's always works for me.

I useually just pull out the modem cable, if it doesn't bring up the disconnected window I just turn it off. I've had FSOD a good few times, only lost items on the first one or two and never had FSODX.
