Is the GC Powerboard (by Datel) a decent keyboard? I dont have the bucks to shell out on one of the import ASCII models.

It's an ok keyboard. the problem is that the layout is that of an european keyboard, and some keys don't mean what they say on the keys. but for simple alphabet its perfect.

Mind you, that's the case of the PS/2 to GC adapter, NOT the keyboard. Just remove the case or whatever. Slipping a pocket knife into the seam and prying it open seems to work just fine.

Very much agreed. Punctuation is quite confusing. Overall, I'd say it's worth the cheaper price, as it's not hard to adjust to the layout.
