I have a question. Why do Japanese players' names appear to us in English? Shouldn't they be in Japanese or do they input them in English, or are they translated or something? Thanx in advance.

A) If you change your language to JP, you cna't type NAMES in JP, but you have access to Kanji, Traditiontal, and English, and another thingy of English.
B) They purposly kept the names in JP because they knew some 'holes from the US might be messing around on the JP ships ... -_- <font size=-1>[ This Message was edited by: Firocket1690 on 2003-11-19 21:59 ]</font>

Nope, it's there so that ALLLLLLLLLL players can basically know who they're talking to because the game is about WORLDWIDE COMMUNICATION. DUH!
So it's like that because Arabic numbers and the basic Uni-Alphabet is understandable among ALL races, countries, and players around the world. P.S. Japanese font format is comprised of... in order Hiragana (traditional), Katakana (special/loaned), Romaji (W I D E S P A C E), and UniCode Alphabet. Kanji is accessible through closely-corrected words under the Hiragana format.
