While scrolling through my Item Bank with my HUmar, I noticed something odd about his Kasami Bracer (which he can't use yet). It was actually much weaker in both DFP and EVP, compared to his Tripolic Sheild I traded for. Now, if the Kasami had the lowest variable DFP, Tripolic would indeed have more. But, according to this site, they both add set amounts of EVP, and that the Kasami is supposed to have more. What's up with this? I wanna have a good reason to use this Kasami... NOTE: A friend gave me the Kasami...if that has any relevancy.

Oh well, if this Kasami's messed up somehow, I'll just hunt down some Sinow Blues for another.

There reletively close in DFP and EVD. The thing that makes the Kasami Bracer a little better (IMO) is it adds 35 to ATP, and also has quite a bit better resistances. Just seems you got a very good Tripolic Shield, and a not so good Kasami Bracer. Kasami i think, looks a little cooler too

PSOW's guard stats are little lacking, especially in the variance department. My own records show the Kasami as varying like this:
DFP: +96 - 105
EVP: +235 - 249

only created armor have set values for defense, found armor and shields can vary extravagantly in stats. The tripolic shield was probably hacked into existance and made to have the absolute maximum in defense and evasion. and If you're anything like me, It'll take you about 5-7 months to find a kasami (none here) and it'll have shitty stats when you do eventually get it. :/

If for no other reason, use the Kasami cuz it looks cool. It's so much nicer to see people using a Kasami as opposed to a Standstill, just because Standstill is too common...

Meh, of course, when I do get to 112, I will USE the Kasami, regardless of stats. Tripolic is nice, but Kasami looks cooler, adds 35 ATP and has better resistances.

I got the Tripolic from someone who uses some hacked items (Red Ring, etc), so it might have optimum stats. Whearas the Kasami was found by a friend...Thanks for pointing out the actual stat variances, Sounomi.

Keep in mind that the variations could be much different from what sounomi posted, those are just the ones that she has found. I'll probably take those variations lower than hers in both stats if I can ever find one.

Tripolic Shield has better minimum DFP and EVP than Kasami, it's also rarer.

If not for that Red Ring, Tripolic Shield would be the 'best' shield, but it is so ugly

Female cast

tripolic shield ugly???
Oh well I love the way it looks so small and sleek unlinke the standstill shield.
(even though I am leveling up to use the standstill shield.)

Well, Tripolic is kinda ugly...they should've made it more shiney and silvery, and made it like a regular hexagon...still, it doesn't look bad...

Heh, yeah, it IS really rare. Ult Morfos/Ill Gill drop? >.< Good luck.

Red Ring pwnz it in every way, except EVP. But it's pretty small, and the 20 extra ATA/LCK/MST/ATP makes up for it. In full.
