[Uncle_bob]

Sometimes when Uncle calls a certain friend of his, Uncle's friend's (who we will refer to as Kat) friend (who we will refer to as Bob), is there with Kat or she's on the phone with Bob (cellphone - Uncle, house phone - bob). Anyway, Bob tends to get pissy and..jealous acting when Uncle calls.

Uncle isn't sure if it's Kat's talking to Uncle that pisses Bob off or if just anyone talking to her on the phone pisses Bob off.

Anyway, what should Uncle do about this situation?

Well i would suggest a rubby, but i havn't seen that talked about outside of fresh kills.

Maybe you should sit down and talk to Kat, tell them that it's kind of annoying when Kat talks to someone else at the same time. Say that if Kat is busy talking to someone else when Uncle calls then Kat should not answer another phone, it's rude to both Bob and Uncle. Let Uncle get through to answerphone, and phone him back when Kat has finished talking to Bob.

If they won't do as you request then there isn't much you can do really.

If they're boyfriend/girlfriend or together in some way, than the person might have issues with his significant other talking to other guys on the phone. Maybe he's had problems in the past with former girlfriends and so on cheating on him or backstabbing him, or even talking bad about him while on the phone to others.

Depending on how long you've known "Kat", maybe they have caused problems in the past and "Bob" has reason to get pissy.

What can you do? Absolutely nothing, you're just a friend and you have no say in how they treat each other, thats their issue to deal with and you stepping in and making a scene out of something that you might not know the full story about will only make it worse.

I think Uncle Bob should get a trophy for giving false names to other and talking about a situation all in third person.
If they are girlfriend and boyfriend, then "Bob" should get over it, unless Uncle is making a move on Kat...then Uncle will just have to kill Bob to avoid any more trouble.

I just wish Uncle could've said that in a more confusing manner.

Well, to the best of Uncle's knowledge, Bob and Kat aren't going out. (Uncle and Kat were together that one point though) Although Bob may have a thing for Kat, that could explain his behavior? Or maybe Kat is just scared to tell Uncle that she and Bob are going out and that Uncle would be mad, which he wouldn't be, and he's told her that before.

Update:

Uncle was talking to Kat on AIM today, she went AFK for a bit and Bob started using her AIM SN. He started saying things like "I'm your worst nightmare" and whatnot. He pretty much said for Uncle not to call unless he's not there and that Uncle better hope he doesn't meet Bob IRL some day, blah blah.

Uncle isn't scared of Bob, but he is worried that if he does meet Bob IRL some day that Bob may assault Uncle and that Bob or Uncle will be killed/injured in the process.

Uncle, do what your Title says, Kick Bob's booty and make him cry to his uncle! Just to make things more complicated make a move on Kat it you wanna piss off Bob. Oh yea, who the heck says "I am your worst nightmare" I mean really.
