i have the whole flowen set(flowens frame, shield and sword auw 3084) and if i equip it what bonus would it give me?

Y would the bonus only work with the replicas, that doesnt make any sense.

Because that would require Sonic Team show a little imagination when updating from Dreamcast to Gamecube? Or, more charitably, they coded that part for GC before some design wonk said, "Hey, let's throw in a whole bunch of DB's Swords and Flowen's Swords?"
