Hello,

I heard from my friend that Sega has upgraded their servers to protect against BSoD's, but I don't know if I believe him or not. So I'm wondering if any of you guys have heard about this or not. Cause I'm pretty scared about going online and losing my character. Was the BSoD's a server-side problem or a client-side? If I encounter a BSoD, then I don't think I'll play this game until version 2 comes out, this game is so time consuming to start over and I so far I have over 100 hours, which I rarely play games for that long. Also, is Sega not allowing backup copies of characters any more? I heard from my friend that if you backup your character and you try to use the backup character (if your original copy got erased), then the servers won't accept you. Is this true?

I just got a BSOD 4-5 days ago, so they're still around. They're not really a problem though, just remove your phoneline, wait a minute, then it'll save. Crisis averted. I've been hit by 5 or so of them, haven't lost a thing.
