I was just wondering... how long do you think people will continue visiting this site and play the game? I know people continue to come to this site for the community, but wouldn't this site become obsolete for pso in a while (five years?), i guess it just dawned on me because i always assumed pso will be around. But pso I, II, and III will eventually become a old school game, although that won't happen for a while, i think it's kind of sad when it does happen cause this is one of my favorite sites... just thinking, by then i would probably have moved on with my life, but still.
Any other thoughts?

I havent played the game in over a year, and im still here and i will probably be here till the forum dies.
SEGA have noticed that theyve got a good thing going with the PSO series, and they will continue to make new PS and PSO games for years to come, so this place will never really die. We will probably have a big calming down period again at some point (i think the first one was about the same time Ver2 died and people were waiting for Ep1 and 2, i remember that it was lucky if we got 6 posts a night at that point), but it will pick back up again eventually.

Well, we'll be here foever. If not talking about PSO some other game. We're like the line outside a starwars movie, we'll come back after the movie anyway. We'll oneday form a village then a small town followed by a busily metropolis. Then finally an evil empire ruled by a squirrel robot, second only to Mexicokagulphia.

Until Phantasy Star games run out, I think this website can hold its own.
Members will leave, new guys will enter, but until its really over I think there's still a long way to go.

I think PSOW will live as long as Sega continues making PSO titles. Still, I could actually see this site going on far into the future. I mean, I have seen sites just as big as PSOW for old games on the NES. Besides, as long as the writers keep on writing and the artists keep on, er, artisting, I will be here.
And if that stops then there is always fanfiction.net and 1UP.com.

If you consider that point, the website will live on much longer than expected.

Well, the site will probably be around until either PSO games stop coming out, or the admins and mods finally get fed up with us and just nuke the site.
I'd say we should definitely hope the first one happens first.
