Last night I've been hunting for a Lavis Cannon and a Magic Rock "Irsista" with my Redria FOnewearl.

First I've decided to go for that Lavis Cannon. Got myself on a quest of Addicting Food, reaching to Cave 2 to the room that have 2 slimes for me to pipe for a red one. It took like an hour to reach to that room, and she was Lv 80 and not totally ready for this area to do some good meleeing so I was casting my way through (casting at creatures near a door helps because they won't recognize me being in the area roaring and coming toward me, a handy glitch this is ). Ob Lilies' Megid attack was no problem when I've had equipped 4 Resist/Devils (dark resist by 15 each). When I now have reached to that room that have 2 slimes in, I splitted both with Rabarta (2 slimes X 4 slimes from splitting = eight) and no red one yet of course. I was piping in that room till less than a minute later, I had splitted a red slime!! With too many blue slimes were in the way from splitting, that red slime died in an instant by a blue slime before giving it a chance to stand up. It dropped a green box that was really nothing. Angry and upset I felt, I'm thinking I've just wasted by time but at least I've tried, I got a level up with a kickass stats boost and one Photon Drop from a Govulmer. God... No Lavis Cannon yet but it was better than nothing really.

After this hunt I went hunting for a Magic Rock "Irsista." But I had to finish this one quest so then the Forest of Sorrow quest appear. After that and was in the Forest of Sorrow, I struggled my way with Alicia who used only Barta to attack with which was the wrong tech element to use against some creatures such as a Gulgus, giving it a damage of 18-20 with Barta that's weaker than mine but at Lv 160? But she've been a pretty nice shield to me and she did heal and never died. Now in Forest 2, I've came upon a Pal Rappy! I was hella surprised because I obviously wasn't expecting one and there aren't many rappies in this quest. I slayed the El Rappies, leaving Pal Rappy for last (I leave best for last, same with food ). But when I slayed it to the ground, a Hildelt appeared being in the way "protecting" the precious Pal Rappy. Heh, that Hildelt got too distracted from Alicia so I've hit that Pal Rappy easily when it got up and it dropped a red box! Yes, it is a Red Handgun. Guns are not my style and it was only a 1/2 chance for it to drop that shit gun. But I did find it currently useful against Hildelts with Jellen and Zalure casted and Shifta, giving it 115ish damage in a heavy attack which is stronger than from a tech (for now). When I reached that last room, I made 3 Hildelts appeared and started piping in that room. After getting fed up with getting a shock that lasts longer on Pioneer 2 to wait for it to end than on Ragol, I equipped 4 Resist/Storms (lightning resist by 15 each). Now no more shocking, and after piping for about an hour with Alicia awfully suffering, a Hildetorr appeared! Whoo! When them 2 Hildelts and a Hildetorr got stuck in their position, I casted Jellen and Zalure. The swinging arms of Hildets didn't touch me (thanks Alicia ) but then it does after a while which knocked me over behind the Hildetorr (I think Alicia whispered to one Hildelt to do that). While I was behind it and it didn't turn around at me, I was shooting its ass literally. When I defeated it... it dropped an orange box of Scepta (non-rare weapon). Disappointed, I killed the remaining Hildelts that one didn't kindly drop me a God/Battle, then on my way to Pioneer 2 after meeting the baby Hildelt which wasn't necessary. My Red Handgun was 15% Dark, I tekked it to 25% Dark (that tekkor was being a bitch to reach that % ). Then I quitted, and saved...

Several questions (for Redria ID):

1. Do the Hildelts have to appear (jump) to the area for a chance to have it to be a Hildetorr, or can they already be roaming the area and does not matter through piping?

2. Do the red slime have to be killed by me for a chance to have it to drop a Lavis Cannon, or can it be killed by another slime and does not matter?

3. Do a red slime from a blue slime still have a chance for it to drop the Lavis Cannon?

4. How many Hildetorrs did it take you to get your first Magic Rock "Irsista"?

5. How many red slimes did it take you to get your first Lavis Cannon (I know Antimony's)?

as for th slimes... it took me exactly 22 to get my lavis cannon.. which was percent-less... though i reckon it might of been sooner if i'd known about the not killing blue slime when there's a red slime around thing X_x

ok number 1 they should just be already roaming around cause i dont think u would see a hildet transform into a hideitor...

number 2 it has a chance of dropping if you didnt kill the original slime (the one you cloned from)

number 3 yes, if i didnt then y are u wasting your time spliting?

number 4 ad number 5 i cant answer sorry

1) it doesnt matter if they are on the ground, or jump down. same chance, since the info about if some enemy is rare or not gets randomized again each time you pipe down.

btw, if you run past the two that are in the room from the start, and kill the one that jumps down, a wave with 2 delts come jumping down -> piping a torr out out 4 is easier than out of 3.

2) it doesnt matter how a red slime dies. but it does matter if the slime that turned red died in a previous pipe-try. once dead, it wont ever drop something.

3) see 2. every red slime that didnt die in a previous spawn (when it was still blue for example) has the same chance to drop a lavis - 1/22.

4) first torr slain, second torr seen dropped me a iritista. chance is... 1/22.

5) i never tried on one, but auracom needed to kill 8. on the other hand, i know of people who killed 40, and nothing.

and additionally: red handgun is under the best 3 handgun weapons in the game - if not the best.

took me seven reds to get a lavis, and the rest were pretty well covered by rena

except she made a slight mistake, or type-o, odds to get both Lavis and Iritista in Redria are 1/22.

Red Slime : 0/38 (I got Lavis in Skyly)

You misunderstand me. What I meant by appear (jump) is not jumping as attacking you, jumping as appearing in an area.

Thanks everyone, for the comments and answers (you too Zero999). Hey rena-ko, that thing you said about how to have 4 Hildelts in a room to pipe for really did help and it makes to have one appear quick. Correction of how to do it: Kill one that jumped down from that last area, then kill one more that another jumped down. Now you have 4 (if you didn't kill the other 2 that didn't appear in the area by a jump down).

Last night had been a terrible hunt for that Magic Rock indeed as my first Hildetorr didn't drop me one, so today I've piped 3 Hildetorrs so far. My 2nd Hildelt (1st of this day), dropped me exactly that: a monomate. But that didn't give me up just yet.

I've piped another which is my 3rd one, and while shooting at it with this Red Handgun, something awful had happened: Alicia dies. I was having Lv 1 Resta so I couldn't heal her before she dies... While I tried to kill that Hildetorr quickly as possible, it was no use. The screen fades and the quest ended and that lucky Hildetorr survived. I was so mad, because if I had killed it then it would've probably dropped that Magic Rock and plus, my hour is wasted of getting nothing but cheap experience points. After this I got off and helped my father with the wood... That did calm me down good.

So I had that Lv 1 Resta because I don't have anyone to support and it recovered enough HP for myself but, when I thought of Alicia I decided to use Lv 9 Resta from my Check Room (I'm still far from using Lv 30 Resta I still have). I went to that same area, piping for yet another Hildetorr. During piping for half an hour, a family meal is prepared so I left my game on in Pioneer 2 and ate. After eating and vice versa, I returned and continued piping. When it appeared, that was my toughest battle I ever had with Hidelts and a Hildetorr. The hardest part was looking after Alicia, and my FOnewearl was weak too. She was weak because a Hildetorr killed her in a single punch before I casted Jellen. But luckily, I have brought exactly 2 Scape Dolls with me just in case. Now that one Scape Doll is used, I had one left. Struggling to Alicia to heal her while Hildelts were all over her (those perverts ), I've died again. No more Scape Dolls... If I died, the Hildetorr will be gone yet again. I didn't think I would make it as one isn't even dead, and my Dark resistance wasn't that good so I have to be extremely careful of the Megid attack, but I successed. I've killed the Hildetorr and it had dropped a red box!! Finally, that 3rd one of the day and my 4th total it had finally dropped the damn thing. I went to it slowly, hoping it is not a Photon Drop... but it is. A Photon Drop it is... But no. I'm kidding, it is that Magic Rock!! I picked it up quickly, and then save & quit as fast as possible after organizing my things.

Now that I have it, I also have a Mind Cutter (fully grinded of course) with a satisfy %'s to go with it from the shop I didn't pipe for. Sure, I know that I'm not going to have the best Rainbow Baton there is because the shop doesn't sell weapons above 50% but it really is good enough for me with 30% Machine and most important, 50% Hit. My FOnewearl is not at the right lv to create it yet but I'll let my higher lv character (HUmar) to do the honor and try it out with him for a while till my FOnewearl have enough ATP to use it. She deserve it after all and my next hunt will be of course, aiming for the Lavis Cannon for my HUmar to have in return.

If you want to know how often I see a Hildetorr (for Redria), I see one in an average of every one hour with 4 Hildelts in a room. Oh, and the word "Irsista" is spelt incorrect. It should be spelt "Iritista" like rena-ko have stated.

Got my Lavis on my 5th Pouilly Slime. I'd call that lucky. But I'm having no luck finding a Red Sword, 12 chain sawds and no red sword yet. Anyways, good luck on finding your lavis and irista stone.
