Bionic Commando, Snake Rattle and Roll, Excitebike, Solomon's Key, RBI Baseball, Contra, Kung Fu, Double Dragon, Duck Hunt and of course...Ice Hockey.

Crystalis (kills Zelda in plot and gameplay), River City Ransom, Ice Hockey, Final Fantasy, Zelda, Mario 3, Bionic Commando... Tons of great NES games.

Ah, the classics. I still generally choose good ol' NES, SNES, and Genesis games over most of the modern games that come out these days. It's true when people say they don't make games like they used to. At any rate, my favorite NES games (in no particular order) are as follows...
Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy 3 (fan-translated, since there was never an official english version), Dragon Warrior 1, 2, 3 and 4, Crystalis, Willow, tLoZelda, Pirates, Castlevania 1, 2 and 3, Ninja Gaiden 1, 2 and 3, Megaman 1, 2 (may very well be my favorite NES game, period), 3, 4, 5 and 6, Bionic Commando, Metroid, Super Mario Bros. 1, 2 and 3, NES Open Tournament Golf, Punch-Out, RC Pro-Am, Cobra Triangle, Bad News Baseball, Super Dodge Ball, Pinbot, and High Speed.
