I'm curious as to if anyone has ever used that site to get HL. No one in my family has a credit card, and I think I'll be forced to pay by money order or something. So, if you have used it.. how was the transaction and would you recommened someone else use it? Thanks in advance!

Well seeing as it's my only option for getting a HL. I might just have to, maybe she isn't as bad as the site looks. lol, I wish I could talk to someone who has used this thing.

Kay is a nice girl not to mention one of my affialiates. I really like PSOE because of the twist she puts on PSO (I.E. her travel guide) I have never used her service but I have heard nothing but good things about it.

i purchased an HL for someone with US ver2 with it, and yes it works quite well except for the 5.00 surcharge.

I'd just get some friend with a credit card and experience with online shopping to do it. Don't have to pay surcharge and don't have to wait for money to be sent =>_>=;

One of my kitty friends tried this service with a money order a month ago, but never got renewed =>_<=;

I am going to try PSO Explorer this month as I need to get online with v2 finally and I will try paying by check or dare I say it: send cash !!!

I read a testimonial to the service on the site and it was an old PSO friend of mine. That convinced me it works since I saw him online as a v2 player for a few months.

But geez $20. US only hehe. Isn't that a little much? A PSO player I know told that his credit card charge for the 3 month service was $9.73 more than half that $19.95 PSO Explorer charge.

Well you get what you pay for I guess. even though I will have to pay bloody twice as much for the same thing!

I haven't been on PSOW in ages, but naturally, this thread caught my eye. I'd like to defend PSOE, since I'm one of its founding members.

Our HL service was created to help some of our PSOW buddies get Online back in the day(before psoe was invented). It was a favor I did for some of the closer forum members who didn't have credit cards...it kinda evolved from there. As of this date I have purchased between 200-300 HL's for pso players.

The reason we charge 19.95 is for many reasons:

- I get charged like 3 extra dollars each from citibank to do this hi-volume of foreign currency transactions. Hell, they call me daily to make sure my CC isn't stolen! lol

- It's a hi-risk venture. People send me bad checks, etc..it's very costly.

- I have to pay outside help to take these orders. I get too many for me to do myself.

Hopefully people understand that I am not ripping anyone off. I'm here for the players. always have, always will...and if you're still a hater, it's not my loss...

I have played several games with people who have used my service...It's great playing with people who I was able to help get online! They're very grateful...and...quite frankly, They're the people who really count, in my book!
