I've noticed that if you get a mechgun, and attack with it the second you equipt it, the first few shots don't appear untill later. And they eventually come along from a random direction... It's wierd.

This has been brought up various times.
Yes, it's a glitch because it's loading the animation of the photon bullets while loading the picture of the mechguns during the movement of the attack function.

You can pull out any weapon, if you use it fast enough, you won't be able to see it the 1st strike.
But mechguns are the most noticable, seeing the attack itself is delayed, not just the weapon's picture.

There also another glitch:
Attack, and press start before the hit lands and it wont hit, eventhough the weapon goes through the enemy. I find that irritating, because i like switching weapons, and if you could switch weapons while youre in the animation, it would be somewhat more dynamic.

good thing about this is however, with the right timing you can split slimes like that.

i for my part use untekked stuff for that purpose, but well ^-^;

Not only when you press start does it cancel the attack, it will cancel if you hold R to highlight your secondary commands.

I get that all the time. If you want to do it more often then basically be attacking with one weapon, quick menu to switch to the mechs and immediately fire. That usually does the trick.

IMHO, all you really have to do is look at it this way. Its a glitch, every game has one, and there's always more than one way to get around them. Personally, I usually always just cast Ryuker at the begining of the map. Then, this way, instead of firing before your guns or whatever can load causing the glitch to occur, just wait to fire UNTIL the guns load. If you're worried about dying because of that pause, don't worry, you cast Ryuker so you'll be able to go back. Either that, or just cary a few ScapeDolls. Its really not a big deal. Every game has its glitches. Besides, anytime its happened to me, I've always hit the enemy.
