What is contained in this document is a true event that took place from August 16, 1971 to August 21,1971. The events and descriptions are from the conscious memory of ex-airman John R. Renz (A.K.A. Yunk) of the United States Air Force. This is his testimony of what took place when stationed at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming during his duty time there in which consisted of seven months and four days.
He is in fact a Vietnam Veteran E.R.A. (Enlistment Regular Air Force). He served proudly from 17,Feburary 1971 until 20, September 1971 being Honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force. He has been with trauma and fear and has been silent for thirty years about the abduction encounter he and thirteen other personnel has suffered. Ex-airman Renz has for years tried to gain help from medical professionals for hypnotic regression but to no avail. And has finally found a noted scientist to work with him. After the thirty years of silence Ex-Airman John R. Renz decided to release to the scientific community and the general public the instructions given to him by the inhabitants of the Beta Elipson Star System that are light years away from Earth.
He has been instructed along with thirteen others to deliver a message of warnings to the inhabitants of the planet earth. These warnings concern the existence of every last creature on earth. He has learned that there has been several people that were heard about have had the same exact same warnings given to them to deliver. He has been searching for the others for over twenty-five years with no results during that time.
From all of Ex-Airman John R. Renz's conscious memories, he has wrote them down along with drawings as a documentation to the abduction experience he had encountered. His report has been filed with the Intruders Foundation in New York City and to a noted Scientist in New Jersey. He has also sent a letter to Temple University. He has also sent a letter to CSETI.
It is the only way Ex-Airman Renz knew how to get this message delivered. It is short and to the point. He has quoted in his own words," The climate changes are only the beginning. The wars here on earth will follow for population control and domination of the weak by it's own people. So long as we fight among ourselves they will do nothing to us. But if we extend our threatening behavior, our planet faces danger, very grave danger. I assure you such power exist." Unquote. It is the decision of the population of earth what fate they shall bring upon them selves. Or they can alter this fate and become united for the benefit and prosperity of all concerned.
THEY SHALL AWAIT OUR ANSWER
EX- AIRMAN: John R. Renz A.K.A. Yunk
Introduction: Based on a true testimony of an Ex-Airman.
Though the Ex-Airman John R. Renz (A.K.A. Yunk) has tried to gain professional help concerning the abduction phenomenon. He has had little to no success as to date. Until then he must endure the persecutions, the scaldings, the threats of government officials. And being subjected to ridicule and being labeled a liar. Ex-Airman Renz admits that most people will not accept his testimonial story as the truth. He knows that most people would rather listen to a lie first or a tainted truth. He only wishes for the people to read his testimony with an open mind and understanding.
The story you are about to read is based on the testimony of Ex-Airman John R. Renz A.K.A.Yunk. He has contacted the National U.F.O. Reporting center in Seattle Washington about his case and the center has told him that his case was too old to study.
He has contacted the Iowa State director of M.U.F.O.N. for help in his case but to no avail. He knows that the director did not do the necessary protocols required by M.U.F.O.N. In addition to the visits to his home, He had to stop the running around he was getting, and told the director and her associates for the fourth time that he had no knowledge how he obtained the scribings and markings on him. Pictures were taken immediately in front of the visiting investigators and showed to them. Later the director of M.U.F.O.N. of Iowa stated that they couldn't use his story because his story did not collaborate with the scribings and marks on him. The only conclusion was that his story wasn't what they wanted to hear. They wanted to hear it their way.
His abduction testimony will sound and appear too bizarre to believe. Or it will sound like a story of a mentally ill person. But the point is this. He has done what other serious abductees have done. Tell what happened to them from what they can remember through their conscious memory with out hypnotherapy or any other means of such treatment.
He was returned unharmed at that time and had to endure the mental anguish that he had to live with for so long. Using comedy as a deception to cover up what he was going through for thirty years. He had kept his encounter a closely guarded secret until he couldn't bear the trauma he has lived with anymore.
He has decided to release to the population of the world his testimony story and the warnings he was to deliver with others thirty years ago.
Today he can only say this; " Everybody has the absolute right to their own beliefs and opinions." " But they do not have the right to classify all extraterrestrials as hostile beings."
" They await our answer." ...
His story begins here.
Now it's the new millennium. The twenty first century had begun. Technology has improved consistently. The Internet and cable TV is expanding at an unbelievable rate. The space shuttle has been zipping around the world a lot. And the Hubble telescope is still taking a peek at the cosmos. But let me take you back, back to when there was no hi-tech, no Internet, no cable TV, and no space shuttle or a Hubble telescope that I can remember. Back to the time when the main issue was the Viet Nan War. And every male high school graduate's fear was going to fight a war that the United States should not have gotten involved with in the first place.
During those times most Americans were unconcerned about anything that remotely pertained to the Unidentified Flying Object phenomenon let alone N.I.C.A.P. (National Investigation Committee on Aerial Phenomenon) and A.P.R.O. (Aerial Phenomenon Reporting Office) who existed at that time. But different organizations pertaining to the U.F.O. subject did in fact exist in different regions of the U.S. and Canada and different parts of the globe at that time. And at that time I just simply had no knowledge that they (the organizations) even existed.
Now it was the year 1968. About mid June. I was fifteen years old at that time and my main concern was getting my drivers permit for Pennsylvania. In between home and going to my Grandfathers farm and my eldest Brothers farm in Green County Pa. I was kept pretty much busy with farm matters and doing odd jobs when I could.
As I said before, I at that time had no working knowledge of N.I.C.A.P. or A.P.R.O. Or even what they did what so ever. So the only space ships I even saw during that time was on television on Saturday nights, on a TV show called Chiller Theater that was hosted by a well known gentleman in our area. I lived outside of a small town in Pennsylvania on what use to be a two hundred acre farm.
First two UFO's seen over farm:
Anyway after a day maintaining the yard and it was on a Friday night as I remember, it was around eleven O'clock or eleven thirty in the evening. I was lying on the bed listening to a radio station from New York City while looking at a hunting magazine. My older brother (now deceased, May GOD keep him,) was an adolescent himself at that time and was cleaning up his binoculars to do some night viewing of the cosmos. I was still lying on the bed looking at an article in the hunting magazine and listening to the radio. I could hear the old oil well's pump engine (in which was a 1929 Northrop) bellow out it's rhythmic sound through the hollows of the woods.
At that time the well was known as Heart Beat Well. My older brother was hanging halfway out the upstairs window of our room (the boys bedroom) looking through his pair of binoculars up at the stars for the past hour. It was near one O'clock in the morning and all was quiet in the neighbor hood. You could hear the semi trucks on U.S. route 40 about five miles away. Then the silence of the night was broken when my older brother said out loud with great excitement, " holy cow"! "Look at this Yunk"!
And before I could get myself completely off my bed, my brother had grabbed my shirt and pulled me to the window. Grasping the bed head railing so that I wouldn't fall out the window I exclaimed, "Where is it you're looking at, which way?" He then said, "Look this way". He pointed to a bright moving light coming from the eastern direction. And then he said, "Look to the west now, you can see another one".
He pointed another bright light moving from the western direction. Those lights were as bright as what the planet Venus would be on any given clear night. No sound could be heard at all from either of the objects.
The first battle of the Great War between extraterrestrials witnessed.
The two bright lights were heading toward each other and my older brother and myself dashed out of the bedroom, down the stairs and outside to the back yard. As we watched the two bright lights on that clear starry night they moved toward each other in a more irregular pattern. And my older brother and I saw something I'd thought we would never see. The two bright lights collided with each other. When they collided, there was a bright flash and then nothing. Nothing but the clear starry heavens above. You had no trouble seeing the Milky Way at that time. That's how clear the air was back then. We saw no burning debris falling or anything else. Just the starry heavens above. My brother and I stared at each other for a few seconds and looked back up at the heavens and pondered the event we had witnessed. No other evidence of the two bright lights we saw existed after the collision. None. My brother started to speak to me in a soft shaky voice. He told me about N.I.C.A.P. and A.P.R.O. and he talked to me about the flying saucer phenomenon that has been untold to the general public for years. And about the case about a couple of people that reported being abducted in 1966. I had no idea who they were. I didn't what the hell to think about the incident that just took place. I was mystified. I never saw anything like it. I will never forget it.
Little did I know what I saw that night was one of the many battles of what was known as the Great War. A war for planetary piece by at least twelve other species of life. I began to ask my brother questions about flying saucers and he talked to me about them. Then we looked up again into the quiet vast sky. I will never forget that the rest of my life. Ever.
The saucer above the little barn July 1969:
It was now July 1969 and the biggest event was when the astronaut Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon July 29 1969. The newspapers carried the event for weeks and my trips to the back yard at late night had already diminished. I was sixteen at this time and basically as any other teenager boy wanted to get his drivers license.
Everything was normal in and around the neighbor hood and the farm. That is until it reached the last day of July. During the evening time around nine or ten P.M. the dogs through out the neighbor hood started barking and carrying on. My older sister as I remember was at the kitchen sink washing up a few dishes or doing something else at the sink. I started walking through the kitchen and when I reached half way through my sister had stopped doing what she was doing and headed for the front porch where she heard our father go. I myself headed out to the kitchen porch. Brownie our collie dog and the neighbors dogs were barking more furiously. After leaving the kitchen porch I observed the direction in which Brownie was barking. I proceeded to the front of the house. Our father, my sisters and a friend of ours were standing on the front porch steps watching this disk shaped object ( the ufo) that was hovering above the little barn across the road. I saw it when I came around to the front of the house. My eyes stayed glued to it as I moved to the front porch step where everyone else was including our mother. It was at least twenty five feet to thirty feet in diameter and eight feet to ten feet thick in the middle area. With my eyes glued to it I saw no segmented dome area on top of it. I did not see any windows of any kind nor did I see any markings of any kind on it. No numbers, letters or any identification as to where it came from, period. The oval shaped disk hovered noiselessly above the little barn for a good ten minutes. You could see that it was at least thirty feet in diameter and was at least twenty feet above the little barn. The craft it self had a slight glow to it. Just bright enough to stand out from the darkness. At that time no one spoke or uttered a word. We just stared in amazement. All you could hear was the neighborhood dogs barking including our dog Brownie. I looked around to see if anyone else were out of their houses to see what was going on. I saw no one else outside.
When I looked back the craft started to rise slowly and started to head in a south eastern direction. Its color was yellowish orange. Then it accelerated to a great speed and was gone in a split second. Later the dogs quit barking Then the phone rang. It was our uncle telling mother his TV was messing up and asked if ours did the same. She said no, that no one was watching TV at that time and let it go at that.
We asked father what that thing was and he just shook his head. he told us not to worry that it probably was a experimental balloon of some kind. I will admit that I didn't buy that explanation at all. Military balloons just don't zip off like that.
We went back into the house and our father still insisted that it was a balloon from the military and that was that. On that note I retired to bed looking out the window down in the direction of the little barn and wondered what that thing was. I found myself gazing up to the heavens in wonder.
Two Years Later:
Well in January 1970 I had gotten dumb and quit high school. Nothing great happened that year. I wasn't interested in UFO's at all any more. I had quit thinking about them all together until the year that changed my life for ever.
The year: 1971, The Month February
At the time I'd enlisted into the United States Air Force I was seventeen and a half years old. I will start at the Air Force recruiter's office at Washington Pa February 1971. 09:00 o'clock A.M. His name was sergeant R. We talked for a good while and he told me that my father had to sign a paper for me to take the physical at the M.E.P.'s in Pittsburgh Pa. and that I had test to take before going in. The tests were the A.Q.E.'s. My father read the papers and signed them. On February 17,1971 I was sworn in the United States Air Force in Pittsburgh Pa.. And we left for Lackland Air force base the same day. After boot camp we got our orders for the next area of duty before we left Lackland. While waiting for the bus to take us to the airport I saw a friend I had in high school. He was just coming in. His name was J. A pretty cool dude. I never saw him again after I got the bus.
I was supposed to have 14 days leave, but it got cut short by 2 days. I had to leave 2 days early for travel time.
My destination was Frances E. Warren Air force base, right beside the United States Experimental station.
I was assigned training in refueling duties of the 809th Supply Squadron on April 17th 1971. I got to Cheyenne Wyoming and reported to the Security Police Station. It wasn't long that Sergeant G. showed up in his 1955 Oldsmobile Holiday and took me to building 348, the base refueling office. There I reported to Tec. Sergeant B. and got briefed in on the duties and other activities including the C.D.C"s that I'll be studying. At the end of the day I got to the chow hall and had supper and then reported to the barracks in which was in the boonies right beside the off limits area of the experimental area.
Earlier that day while I was at the base fuels section office I received my emergency action data card in which I still have in my possession for the past 30 years to help prove my story. These cards were used for record account in case of radiation exposure. In such an event, I was to report to one of the three decontamination stations locations.
When notified of an alert, I was supposed to report to Staff Sergeant S. who with in that same time period received his honorable discharge after serving his time. Sergeant G. took over his place. I had had to go to drivers' education classes to obtain my resident and military license. I only received my resident license for the state of Wyoming. I spent a lot of time between refueling and classes at first. Well time passed and then I was changed from the refueling trucks to the main base gas station for military vehicles. The base gas station was across from the motor pool, It was June 1971. I went to the refueling section in earlier June.
June came and gone and July moved in. In mid July on the top of the cat walk of the barracks I was residing in you could see the open country and into the E X .area as far as the hangers. The mist followed the low lands and creek areas. Antelopes could be seen in the background. The Frontier days were about to begin and as I looked over to the EX area, over to where the hangers were I paused watching intently.
Blinking my eyes to be sure I didn't have any matter in them, I again focused my attention to the hanger area especially the bigger one. The hanger doors were wide, surrounded with armed guards all around. The roar of the diesel engine broke the silence of the early morning just as the sun had broke daylight. It was a heavy-duty semi with a lowboy trailer on it going into the EX area. On it was something covered up with tarp except the tail end. Even the tail end was mysterious to look at. You could see plainly there were no engines, none at all. The tail end would put you in mind of a modified space shuttle. The end of the tail section was completely covered in what looked like glass. As if it was molded to fit the wing area and tail fin all in one piece. To tell you how this glass covering illuminated, light from the surrounding area is to look into the edge of a clear glass square ashtray.
Look at the glass edge between where the cigarettes rest in the ashtray. And you'll see what I mean. Anyway the semi pulled into the hanger and the doors closed. A few moments later the truck that was pulling the trailer had left the hanger from the other end by it self. The guards out side positioned them selves in such a way that no one could get near the hanger. The stillness of the catwalk was disturbed by the heavy footsteps of combat boots. It was the first Sergeant. How long he had been watching me watching the EX area I don't know. He stepped up to me and said with an authorities order in which was, " What you see, You don't see, Get Me!". And I answered while standing at attention" Yes sir." He replied to me to get to the breakfast chow hall and report to my duty station afterwards. I saluted the N.C.O. and said, " yes sir". He returned the salute and dismissed me. I did an about face and went down the stairs of the catwalks to catch the shuttle bus to the chow hall. While riding on the shuttle bus to the chow hall I thought about what I have seen and wondered if that thing flew, or is it going to fly. After consuming breakfast I reported to the base fuel section and they sent me back up to the base refueling gas station to help train a new recruit. All went pretty good that day. Evening fell and I had had a habit of walking along Happy Jack Road from the Airmans' Club area to the barracks.
It was quiet to walk or jog along and that's where I would jog along to keep up my running ability and get use to the thinner air in that area. Happy Jack road goes out through the countryside of the base. It was about the last week of July I was walking back to the barracks by way of Happy Jack Road. The sun had just set but you could still see around you. While walking you could see the stars starting to show when you looked up. Well I looked up and saw a plane; well I thought it was a plane. After about a minute it dawned on me that there was no vapor trail behind this plane, the plane was in the shape of a wedge, and another thing there was no sound coming from it. I watched it as it glided by heading for the EX area. It looked like the same thing I saw them put into the hanger in the EX area. But I wasn't to sure about it. I knew then that the MX missile system was just a side dish and what just went over me was the main meal. This really started me thinking. This was the turning point of the Air Force. They will be soon known as the United States Space and Air Force. Still walking I couldn't resist any temptation of watching the sky for anything like what just flew over me.
With my excitement growing my pace quickened as I headed toward the barracks in which were still a good two miles away. I went across Crow Creek Bridge, it was getting darker so I quickened my pace to dogtrot jogging. After arriving at the barracks I got cleaned up and went to the community center where the Zodiac bar was. There I met up with some airmen whom I knew to see around for a good while.
The conversation they were having was about a new aircraft that the air force was experimenting with. As I was walking past the table, one of the airmen asked me what do I think about the new planes the air force was experimenting with. I stopped and looked at him then replied " What experimental planes "? "What are you talking about"? He lowered his eyebrows and with a stare that would cut right through you he said " I'm talking about the ones that don't need engines, the ones that fly without conventional power". I paused for a moment and told him that I really didn't know what to think about it unless I knew something about them. He told me to sit down, shut up and pay attention. With intriguing need to know, I sat down and lit up a cigarette and ordered a coffee. The other three airmen sat there not saying a word. They were just looking at me and then looked at the airman that was talking to me and nodded their heads.
At that moment I knew I was in the click. The airman that had spoken to me with a stone cold face asked me if I knew that I was an expendable asset. I replied "Expendable asset, for whom"? He sat back in his chair, shook his head and told me to read what I was wearing. When after I did I looked back up at him and he said " Get the idea"? That hit me like a ton of rocks. The other airmen stared at me and nodded their heads and then the other airman said, " yes, you got the idea", "huh"? At that moment I just nodded my head remembering what I've learned what my father and other combat vets had told me.
So I said " Ok, what's the deal"? The airman told me to go with the flow of doing my duties as required but keep my eyes and ears open and my mouth shut. He proceeded to tell me that the air force was experimenting with levitation. I sat back in my seat sipping my coffee as he talked. His story related to an experimental craft that needed no engines and had the ability to float or hover in any given area and can move at speeds yet not heard of. My mind for a split second went back to the farm back in 68 where the saucer shaped disk was above the little barn. I looked at the other airmen and asked him " your talking about some kind of flying saucer or something like that"? He nodded his head. One of the other airmen spoke up and said "It's true". "What do you think is in that hanger at EX"? I looked at the other airman and told him that last week I watched them haul it into the hanger at EX one morning.
The other airman asked me if anyone said anything to me about it. And I told him that the N.C.O. at the barracks told me that what I saw, I didn't see, get it. They all looked at each other and nodded their heads.
The first airman while flicking his cigarette looked up at me, slightly nodded his head and said "Your in". But only few people know about it. But we keep quiet about them. I looked at him and the others and said "No problem". They told me to meet with them there next week at the same time. So I agreed to that. They all got up from the table and left. I sat there lighting up another cigarette and finishing my coffee I ordered on the past conversation.
Throughout the following week I did my normal duties with out giving any indication of what I had seen or conversed about. At the end of the week after I finished up my shift, I went to the barracks and got cleaned up and went up to the community center where I had been before. I t was between 8:30 and 9:00 P.M.. I had been sitting at the table for at least half an hour. Sipping a cup of coffee looking at an Outdoor magazine and waiting for the other airmen to show up, but they didn't show. So I waited a little longer and they still didn't show. I began to feel something was wrong. Where they bullsh***ing me or were they in trouble. Just then one of the other airmen sat down at the table and said " what's up pops"?. I told him nothing much except they needed a new fuel reserve tank set up at EX. He asked me if I went there to set it up and I told him no. No security clearance for that area.
I just helped delivered the fuel truck to the gate and had to wait at the guard house while someone else from inside came and got the truck. He sat back in his seat and you could see the question mark above his head. I asked him where the others were and he told me they got transferred to different bases. I nodded my head and asked if he was getting a transfer. He told me he was, to Minnesota next week. I asked him why and he only told me he had to and nothing else. He got up from the table and told me to be careful and remember what they told me. Pushing his chair back under the table he said "See you later bro".
I said "Ok man". He left the community center through the side door. Butting out my next to last camel I had a very uncomfortable feeling. If those guys transferred out of here there was always a reason. There's a reason for everything. So I decided to not worry about it and get on with it as far as my career. Little did I know what the future had in store. Nor did anyone else at that time. July 1971 rolled out and August came in. The weather was warmer during the day but was a little cool at night. But not all the time. My CDC"S were improving I was gaining rank on paper but not in time. I at that paid very little attention to the EX area. I was doing good during my time there but I still had that memory of the craft that the truck took into the hanger in the EX area. I said nothing to anyone else about it ever again.
The middle of August '71 drew close and what was to take place should never happen to any body. No matter who they were. The weekend passed, It was now Monday, August 16 1971 A.M.. The day that changed my life.
This day I will never forget for the rest of my life so long as I'm in my right mind, nor will I ever forget the weekend that followed. As I set here in present day thirty- years later, I still have a hollow spot of missing time. Time I must try to remember by any means to understand why it was taken away from me. There is a need, not a want.
August 16, 1971 at 5:00 A.M. the alarm clock rings its fury in telling me to get up. I reached up and pushed the snoozed button. The alarm went off again and my roommate started kicking my bunk and said "shut that dammed thing off." I got up stumbling in the darkness to turn on a light. I got my shaving gear and all, showered up, shaved, dressed, and told my roommate that I'll see him later. The cool wet dew had settled on the handrails of the catwalks, and it seemed like a pretty good day.
I caught the bus to the chow hall. After breakfast I reported to the base refueling station in which was my duty site for the past month. I had discovered that we got a new recruit for the 809th supply and so I showed him the ropes on the paper work concerning each refueling of military vehicles. The day seemed to drag somewhat for most of the later afternoon. Things weren't quite normal. Hardly anything was going on there. It was like on eerie quite. That silence was broken by two F-104's flying over. When the F-104's flew over and the silence was broke it seem like everything else started up again.
At the end of the dayshift another new recruit from the 809th had come in. Here's how my original story goes from what happened that evening filed with the Intruders Foundation in New York 29 years after this incident happen. The report is as follows; On April 5, 1999 I wrote to Mr. Budd Hopkins concerning night mares that I have had for a long time and not the kind you get from being in Vietnam. I was never in Vietnam. I explained to him that at first I could remember 7 hours, but years later I and my girlfriend figured out that I was missing a total of five days. This is my report and story as well as my testimony.
Mid August 1971 on the 16th day at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base, Cheyenne, Wyoming, beside The United States Experimental Station. Look at any Rand McNally Road Map and you'll find it.
On August 16,1971 after completing routine duties I was relieved of duties by a new recruit of the 809th Supply. The time was 5:00 P.M. Mountain time. I had checked out with the N.C.O. at the refueling office and then left for the chow hall.( walking), Approximately 5:30 P.M. I got to the chow hall and about 6:00 P.M. I left there.
While walking down Randell Avenue which goes north and south through the base. I only remember seeing two military vehicles traveling South on Randell Avenue. The time was about 6:15 P.M. I do know I stopped by the base gym and I was thinking of getting into lifting weights but it was closed. So I walked further north and stopped at the Airmen's Club in which is on the east side of Randall Avenue. It was still daylight about 6:25 P.M. At this Airmen's Club they are only allowed to served 3.2 beer and soft drinks. No hard liquor is allowed. The bartenders at that time was an African American Sergeant and there were two other airmen there.
I sat at the bar and ordered a glass of beer. The glass only holds eight(8oz). I had smoked a cigarette and drank half the glass of 3.2 beer. I went to the restroom and after coming back out I had second thoughts about finishing the beer. While leaving the Airmen's Club, I asked the sergeant whom was tending the bar to dump the rest down the drain. He nodded his head and did so.
About 6:45 P.M. after leaving the bar, it was starting to get dark just about past the twilight stage. Still going north on Randell Avenue I had been walking at least 10 minutes and turned left on a crossroad (not on map and still on base), and headed west towards my barracks. This road crosses over Crow Creek in which runs through the lower half of the base. This road is just north of State Road 210 which is known as Happy Jack Road. I walked along the road for about maybe one quarter too one half mile until I came to a concrete reinforced bridge. At this time there were no street lights near the bridge at all. The bridge crossed over Crow Creek. ( getting darker ) With other matters on my mind I never noticed how deadly quite everything was. The bridge was at least 25 feet wide by inside measure and at least 30 to 35 feet long to give you an idea of how big the bridge was. I started to walk across the bridge, and just before I got to the middle of it the paralyzing sound of what sounded like very loud heart beats and very heavy breathing behind me and just as quickly as I heard them, the bridge and the area around the bridge lit up like it was day light.
I mean the dam thing lit up. I know factually what I heard and was seeing was real. Four ounces of 3.2 beer doesn't do that to you. It was like someone had turned on a huge spotlight on you and you can feel the heat and it was a cool night. Very shortly after the light came on from above and this loud heart beat and loud and heavy breathing was still there. The bridge moved in a wave like motion and then settled. I had became struck with fear and ran. Just before I got to the other end of the bridge it dawned on me that I had dropped my corn cob pipe.
And to this day I still don't know for any reason why I ran back to retrieve my corn cob pipe. I remember distinctly looking down for it. The bridge was still lit up. The loud sounds of the kind I described earlier had ceased just before I found my pipe. (Visual contact). I remember finding my pipe, stooping down on my left knee and reaching with my right hand to get it. The pipe was by my right foot, and as I grasped the pipe, I looked up. When I had looked up, I was paralyzed with mortal fear. There it stood only three feet away from me. The being seem to be at least 6-7 feet tall. The being was in plain view and it looked down at me. I jumped up almost to a half standing position and we stared at each other.
I thought that my heart was going to jump out of my chest. The being had like medium build as far as the chest, hip area, and upper leg. But the head was quite larger than normal, and long arms. It appeared to be wearing a suit that was like a silver gray in color and fitted to its body as if you would be wearing a wet suit for skin diving. The head covering and body suit where as one. I saw no seams, no zippers, nothing like that. The eyes were covered with what appeared to be a one piece lens that went across both eyes as if it was a type of blast shield, but the nasal area joined in with it. From the nasal area was a silver gray tube that went from the nasal area. It stretched at least one and one half feet long and went directly into its chest area. The silver gray tube was ribbed and looked just like a trake tube the type used in hospitals. The hands were of the consisting of three fingers and what appeared to be a thumb where the wrist is. The three fingers were long and had claws on them. The what appeared to be a thumb was shorter. The two thumb like part of the hands had claws on them. The feet were three toed and didn't appeared to have any heels.
When I looked back up towards its face, I was almost to a full standing position. The being raised its right three fingered hand and motioned for me to come closer. At that instant self preservation took over and I turned around to run. And I mean run. I remember turning to run but for many years I don't remember running off the bridge itself. I know the next crossroad is at least a good (50) fifty feet away from the end of the bridge. What I mean is this. I turned to run away from the being and the next thing I know, I ran out in front of a jeep with three(3) airmen in it. The driver of the jeep slammed on the brakes to keep from running over me and brought the jeep to a screeching halt. I fell to my knees and cried out for help from God. The airmen in the jeep yelled at me profanely and I got up again. The airmen who was driving the jeep said I was crazy and drove off. I started running again, and didn't stop running until I could see the barracks up ahead. The barracks was still quite a ways off, at least about a quartered of a mile. When I got to the parking lot of the barracks, an airman I knew who drove on British two(2) seater M.G. Convertible car that was dark green like a forest green color, had just thrown some trash into the dumpster. I had caught up with him before he was halfway to the barracks. I ran up to him out of breath scared half to death and I grasped his arm and got only four words out. They were, "Did you see it?"
The airman looked at me as if I was crazy. I remember asking him what time and what day it was. He looked at his watch and told me it was Saturday night, two o'clock in the morning. This can't be Sunday morning , I told myself. After the airman had left and I began to realize that I stank, I had a beard that showed that I haven't shaved for awhile. My fittings looked like I'd been sleeping in them. I immediately ran up three flights of stairs up to my dorm room and damn near tearing it off its hinges when I opened it and slammed it shut.
When I slammed the door shut I wake up the other airman in the barracks on the top floor where my dorm room was. My roommate wasn't in the room at the time. I had locked the door behind me and picked up a weapon ( a club ) and turned out the light. I immediately went to the window peering out between the blinds searching the area where the bridge was in hopes could see signs of any movement. My only thought was to kill it. I was serious about that. When I heard the other airmen at the door trying to get me to open it. I wouldn't move from the window still looking toward the bridge where I have had my encounter.
The airmen got the officer in charge to open my door. Some airman came in and I turned around as soon as they turned on the light. They stood paused. The officer and the airman started to talk to me asking me to calm down and to tell them what had happened. Still clutching the weapon (club) the airman couldn't believe what I had told them about the encounter on the bridge, The loud sound of a heart beat, the loud sound of heavy breathing, and about the bridge moving up and down and the bright light and the thing I saw. The airman looked at each other and looked back at me and told me everything's ok that nothing is going to harm me. With that reassurance they talked me into putting the club down.
When I did, the airman jumped me and twisted my arms behind me so that they had me physically under control. I kept telling them that the damn thing was at the bridge. The Officer in charge of the barracks told them to take me to the base hospital. While being escorted out of the barracks from the third floor down the outside staircase of the barracks I distinctly remember seeing two security policemen in a jeep waiting for me.
As the two airman took me down the last flight of stairs one of the security police officers got out of the jeep and placed handcuffs on me. He told the two airmen to ride in the back with me. While riding in the back of the jeep to the hospital the older Security police man on the passenger side turned back to me and asked me what the hells wrong with me. I remained silence and kept looking back at the bridge. When we got to the hospital on base I was taken to a room that had only a chair and a small cabinet on a small table, nothing else. The doctor that came in and told the security policeman to take the handcuffs off and for them to take the two airmen that was with me back to the barracks. They left immediately after taking off the handcuffs. A nurse came in and took seven (7) small sized vials of blood from my right arm.
The doctor asked me in a demanding way to keep looking down. So I did, but it was too late, I already seen his face. A face Iíll never forget. The first doctor appeared to be of European descent,(Greek). He had broken English. While I was looking down, I noticed something wrong, this doctor was wearing black pants and dress shoes, was not Air Force issue. He questioned me on what I did from the time I got up yesterday morning until I got there.
Before I ever began to answer the first question, another doctor entered the room and asked the first doctor, "Is that him?" The first doctor replied, "Yes that's him." Then he (the first doctor) told me to continue and to keep looking down. While I was telling them what had happen. The doctor asked me to repeat about turning and to run and about the jeep with the 3 airmen in it. So I repeated what had happened.
The doctor told me to continue. While I continued the second doctor walked in front of me and stopped. I could clearly see that he too was wearing black pants and the shoes were the same as the other doctors. Not of Air Force issue. I looked up for a second. The first doctor ordered me to stare at the floor.
When I was done they told me to forget what I saw and what I had heard. They tried to tell me it was my imagination and fatigued. One doctor left the room. A nurse came into the room with a sedative. (This sedative taste like mint. I found out it was known as P.I.N.E. years later). The doctor told me to take it and go to the barracks for a day of rest and return to duties the following Monday. The O.C. of the refueling section picked me up and took me back to the barracks. The following day I really got reamed out by the C.O.
From that day on it has been with me. I lost 7 hours of my life between the bridge and getting back to the barracks. For years I believed I was missing seven hours. I was wrong. That so called doctor seemed pretty interested about the parts when I got to the bridge, the loud heart beat, the loud heavy breathing, the light that lit up the everything around and on the bridge and the bridge moving in a wave like action, and when I ran and particularly the time not remembered of running off the bridge but in front of the jeep with three airmen in it. Was he a real doctor or a Spook? He did say that the blood test showed a little traced of alcohol. That told me that what they got in the test was the remainder of the hops thatís used in making beer. In other words he was telling me that I was not intoxicated just my imagination over working and fatigue. Bullshit!, I know better. Where did 7 hours of my life go 30 years ago? In which was actually five days. From August 16th, which is a Monday,1971 to the following Saturday August 21st 1971, 2A.M. 1971
Within the later parts of those 30 years especially in the early 1980's. I started to have what is known as flash backs. Not the kind you get from the Vietnam War. I was never in Vietnam. I was one of the lucky ones concerning South East Asia.
What I am talking about is another kind totally. I started to pick up the pieces from the time I was on that bridge until the time I ran in front of that jeep. The first one was I was in this what appeared to be a cockpit of a craft of some kind. I remember seeing the clouds below and the faint trail of clouds with rainbow colors as to be leaving the atmosphere when I opened my eyes again we (myself and this being) were descending through clouds of vapor that was a reddish brown in contrast. I can remember this craft flying between two huge mountains, They were mostly a reddish brown like a darkened sandstone with dark stripes embedded by time. The very little vegetation below was various shades of lighter yellow brown to almost black.
There was very little vegetation anywhere it looked like a rocky desert.
I don't remember seeing water, any streams or any creeks, none. Then my eyes closed again and when I opened my eyes again the being I was with is talking to me with out words being spoken by mouth. I looked around and we were on the ground looking at what appeared to be a solid door. I stood there in amazement wondering where the hell I was and at the same time I had the feeling of fear of what was going to take place. The being spoke to my mind to move towards the door. As I walked toward the solid door and it opened. The door itself was a matched reddish brown color the same as the mountain sides and the area around. The being told me to go in. I really didn't want to go in, but I did. As I entered the small room I noticed the room had no window. The door closed behind us. Inside this room that was about seven feet high, ten feet wide and at least twelve feet long . The light in this room illuminated from the ceiling. In this room was a table that floated. There were no table legs, no hanging poles or wires, nothing like that. The walls and floor of that room was a silver grey in color. The table that floated was the same color and on that table was the carcass of a creature or being that was unlike anything I had ever known to exist.
The creature lying on the table had a larger than human head and the face of a wasp. The eyes were large like wasp eyes and had like slits inside that looked like pupils. The eye coverings was that of multi lens., small jaw smaller slits for the nose area. This creature was about four to five feet in length it seemed to have an outer shell as an insect would like an exoskeleton. The color was a tannish to brown with bluish grey and the fowl order that omitted from it was unbearable. The sent was like rotten eggs and sulphur mixed. It had three fingers on its hands and one as if it was a thumb about halfway up its lower inside forearm. Where the elbows were was sharp concave like spikes were at least six inches long. The feet were two toed and no heel could be seem, just like the toes jointed at the ankles only. The mouth was gasped open and the teeth were like small sharks teeth. Inside the mouth was like a tan color. There was a hole through the chest cavity. On its right side that went down to its lower left side. The hole went clear through it. You could look clear through it.
The hole was approximately one and one half inches in diameter and seemed to be burned through. The flesh inside the hole was a reddish brown and bluish from the wound. A clear liquid with a reddish substance in it dripped on to the table. ( it's Blood?) It was burned clear through. After viewing this dead creature for what seemed like an eternity and trying to keep from puking up everything I had. The being told me time ago. The being was the same one from the bridge. Another door opened up and the being told me to exit the room. When I did I was able to breath and regain myself and I noticed something else, the air seemed to have a lot of oxygen or something in it because it seemed to stop the sickness from the smelling the corpse and seem to make you energetic. After gasping and coughing for breath, I look and there it sat. I couldn't believe how big it was. When I saw the craft like I never seen before. It wasn't saucer shaped. It looked like a plane body with a wide front end and round tapered tail. No tail fins. The wings looked like the ones Kenneth Arnold described back in 1947. But they were full sized wings. The whole thing was in the shape of a gigantic manta ray.
The manta ray shaped craft ( as I call it) had what appeared to be engines on its wings, but they were not engines as we know them. In the front of what appeared to be engines were round nose cones on them at the front and then the engines blend and tapered into the wings themselves. The nose cones were a transparent dark green in color. The same for the wide front end. The what appeared to be the canopy was an oval bubble shaped. It too looked lifeless, as it sat there.
The whole craft sat on two pillars, rectangular in shape and least fifty feet between them. What appeared to be the engines rested on them. The being and I walked under the craft, as I walked under it even though the distance between the ground and the craft was twenty feet, you could see the texture of the material it was made of. It seemed like the whole thing was made in one casting. There were no rivets, no welded joints nothing like that. It was dark grey in color almost black. A door opened on the under side of the craft and this transparent ladder appears from it. (20 years later I got the impression that this was an older craft because of its simplicity).
The being told me to go inside and to sit in the left seat. I did walk up to the transparent ladder, it put you in mind of clear acrylic plastic or something like that but had the feel of aluminum. I did at this point I in my judgment I knew what was going to take place. I proceeded to climb up the transparent ladder. At the top of the ladder just inside of the craft I could see what would be the cockpit. As I looked to what be the front of the craft everything seemed to molded all together as if it was a wax molding, light grey in color and the control panel was at least eight feet wide. But the view was tremendous. It was like looking from a top a two story building. You couldn't see inside from the outside, but from the inside the view was crystal clear. I looked straight across the ways and saw an extract replica craft. The being passed by me on my right and sat in the right seat and pointed to the left seat. I sat in the left seat observing the control panel in front of me. It was none like any other I've seen before.
So many which looked like numbers symbols, and which looked like hieroglyphs and geometric figures continuously kept changing their display an indicator was on the viewer part of the control panel looked like a 2 inch line sharp at both ends. The control handle on my left was about one foot long, at least two inches in diameter and was darken in color like a bluish green and it was transparent, The control on my right was shorter in length and smaller in diameter and had the glitter of diamonds. The screen in front went the whole length of the control panel. The screen was at least eight inches and tapered off at the ends. The control panel was molded with the craft itself as if the whole thing was one casting, inside and out, all at the same time.
The being in the right seat was talking to me by some means of thought, telepathy. I had realized that I had the pilot controls of the craft. The being had the navigation and weapon controls on its side and simultaneously at the same time I activated the craft like I knew exactly what to do. At this time I was without resistance, without no fear. For the life of me I can't to this day figure out why it seems like I've done this before. The fear was gone. It was like a routine preflight check. The being looked at me and told me it was time. The screen up along the top of the whole control panel come on and had a amber colored indicator in the middle that indicated a tracking devise of some kind. The control stick in front of me was approximately three feet in height and had an oval shaped head on top. There were oval shaped handles on each side. The shorter jewel handle released the craft from the pillars it rested on. The handle on the left was used to levitate the crafted up or down and hover in any on given altitude. The control stick with the oval shaped lead as tap is used to guide the craft, forward, backwards, left and right turns called banking (air force terms). After starting the craft up by placing my hand on the panel in front of me, in the right side of the screen part, I released the craft from its pillars by raising the jeweled handled up and pulling upon the blue green handle to levitate the craft.
There was the sound of what sounds like harmonics of a powerful electric motor. It wasn't loud but you could hear it vividly the whole time. After lifting off from the pillars I leaned the control stick (yoke - air force terms) forward and the craft moved with the gentleness of a hot air balloon on a calm day. Leaning the control stick forward and left the craft turned left. I could see through the valley with crystal clarity. The huge rocky cliffs on the right jutting out from the mountain side and the reddish brown terrain below. The craft quietly glided past the rocky cliffs towards the huge crater like valley with mountains all around it. It was enormous.
Once past the cliffs I turned the oval handle forward on the control stick and at the same time pulled up on the levitation handle. In a instant second the terrain below became a blur. The craft gained on a altitude I would guess to be three to five miles above the surface in about five seconds. And I did not feel any "G" force at all. The amber indicator in the middle of the panel screen started moving from side to side as if it was scanning ahead for a signal of some sort. The wining sound the craft had increased when I turned the oval handles forward and had accelerated in velocity but it wasn't disturbing.
The being beside me told me to remain calm, and that I already know what I had seen on the table that floated was a creature that lived a different society. That they are of a murderous race. They breed by the hundreds and consume different parts of their prey, including human flesh and animals from my planet and his or hers or its.
The being told me that they must be terminated, and that the ravage destruction they create must be stopped. I had let out a sigh.
The being explained the cause to me in words I could understand. Maybe some of the missing people I seen on posters aren't missing, maybe they are just abducted or dead and no one knows about it, or do they and they're not saying anything.
The being seated on the right told me that the target would be appearing on the screen in five minutes by my measurement of time. I remember looking to the right and I could see another craft just like the one me and this being was in. It was not closer than at least fifty feet from wing tip to wing tip.
The screen in front that stretch across the whole top of the control panel was giving a view of the terrain of 100 miles in front constantly. The readout on the screen was like pictographs and hieroglyphs geometric figures and the like.
A type of beeper came on. The being leaned back in its seat and I looked at the being and I yelled at it, "What the hells that?" And I saw the craft to our right explode with a blinding bluish white flash. They were no more. The force of the explosion shook the craft me and that being was in. When I looked forward again eyes wide open, sweating and my heart was pounding. This craft unlike any I saw before darted in front of us. It darted from the top left to the bottom right of my viewing area. I knew that this little bastard just killed the ship beside us and this little bastard isn't killing me, no way. The being beside me told me to go after it. It must be terminated.
Without resistance I instinctively did what is commonly known as a barrel roll to the left turning back chasing what appeared to be a long cylinder shape with small triangle wings and no cockpit and no engine as we know them. While chasing the smaller dart shaped craft with a side to side motion this would enable the being I was with to get a lock on the dart shaped craft. The indicator in front made a steady tone and the being touched what looked like a jewel type button on its side of the panel. The as I had described exploded violently. I saw no laser beams, no rockets of any type. The explosion was like a fireball that was reddish bluish white and amber mixed. The craft disappeared in an instant nothing remained of it. After this dogfight, the being told me to turn back to target. At that point and time I remember screaming back at the being in these words, they were "Fuck you, your the G-damn navigator so get your ass back on track." "I just fly this G-damn thing. "The being just looked at me saying nothing as I felt a rage I had never felt before. And never before in my lifetime wanted to kill a target and a race of beings like the one I saw on that table and never knew existed before until then. The indicator for tracking started blinking. The being told me to go through the valley below just ahead of us. While descending down to the valley through the reddish brown cloud that was sparse I kept looking ahead and side to side looking for anything flying.
The being said something to me like mirror image activated. What ever it was talking about. There were two mountain ranges ahead. The valley below showed no signs of vegetation or water just rocks and dirt and sand. I looked back up and then I saw it. "My God", I said. It was huge and massive in size.
I didn't dare blink. I was in aw. the target. It was gigantic . The screen in front showed a perfect crystal clear three dimensional image of the mountains and the target that looked like a gigantic bee hive. And you can see creatures inside it. They appeared to be scrambling back and forth. You could see at least 200 of them on screen. They were the same as the insectoid thing I saw on the table that floated. The hive was at least two miles in diameter and two to two and a half miles high. It had a huge entrance that seemed to be a solid door with an archway around it. It had a huge window around it. Thatís where you could see at least two hundred of them scrambling about. It had four pillars with flat round tops and round spheres on them.
The pillars themselves were huge at the bottom and tapered up 2 miles to the flat round tops. They were at least on half a mile at the bottom and at least one quarter mile at the top just under the flat round top that was a half a mile in diameter and the round spheres were just over a quarter mile in diameter but were under a half mile in diameter.
The whole thing was like limestone but the spheres were like chrome plated balls. The being told me that when the mountains clear the screen that it would execute. It seemed like for ever. Sweat was running down my face, wiping my eyes with the sleeves of my shirt. I prepared to take evasive action. The mountains cleared the screen. The being told me that it had fired and to turn away. I immediately pulled back on the stick and to the left and pulled up on the levitation control. The craft followed suit. After getting turned around and after clearing the two mountains I pushed to control stick forwards and turned the oval handle forward.
The terrain below became once again became a blur. From behind us there was a blinding flash that literally lit up even the terrain below us even as fast as we were moving. There was a blinding bluish white and then a reddish color. The craft we were in shook violently and then all was calm. The being turned on a viewer for the rear and all you could see was gigantic crater that was still glowing red with fire. nothing remained of the hive or of the pillars, just a empty burning hole. At that time with out words, I knew over two hundred creatures in that hive died. The being told me to follow the setting star. In other words it was telling me to follow that planets sunset. It seemed like hours passed. The being with me told me to reduce velocity. So I turned back the oval handles and the craft began to decelerate. The terrain down below was no longer a blur and you could see another valley ahead.
With crystal clear view you could see something was wrong. The valley was big like an open crater. It had a stone structure in the middle of it with an entrance way, and no windows. The being I was with told me to stop the craft and hover so I pulled the control stick back until the craft stopped moving forward and lowered the levitation control until we were at least 10 to 15 feet above the ground. Then I pushed the jeweled handle on my right down to stabilize the ship. The being with me told me that we must leave the ship and look for survivors. But from where I was sitting there were no survivors. The being got up out of its seat and went back to where the doorway had opened in the floor of the ship before. After it had opened the transparent ladder came from the ceiling and extended to the ground. The being looked at me and said "come". I got out of the seat I was in and followed the being down the ladder. After reaching the ground the ladder retracted back up into the ship and the door closed. "Thatís great," "that f***ing great!" "Now we can't get back in to the ship." I yelled at the being. The being told me not to think negative or derogatory and that we will be able to get back into the ship. It looked at the structure.
The being started walking to the crater valley where the sand stone structure was. So I followed it not really willing but not much choice. As we approached the area you could see dead bodies lying all around. The stench was so strong that I had stopped and puked dry heaves. After that I walked up to the being I was with whom was looking at two very mutilated bodies. The one on the right wasn't human like but it was one of the insect like creatures with half its face chewed off. The one on the left was disemboweled. It looked more humanlike. Large eyes, something like nose and mouth and chin, but no hair. Grey in appearance as for the skin color was. Two others had dismembered limbs and the rest had large holes through them. It was the most sickening thing I ever seen. The being told me to leave them and that we would go into the structure. Now my heart was racing, I just knew hell was about to happened it wasn't good. Both the being and I went into the stone structure. It was deserted. It looked like a cantina. There was what looked like a counter top cabinet to the right and a stone table. The being moved to my right.
I moved over with it away from the doorway. You could hear footsteps approaching. I knew that we were in serious trouble. I started searching for a weapon of some kind desperately. The being I was with seemed to remain calm. I moved further from the doorway. And then all of a sudden this thing that had a face of a wasp walked in and looked right at me. You canít imagine the terror I felt. I wasn't willing to die with out a fight. The creature had on a long dark cape like cloak on and it walked to the wall across from the doorway and opened the right side of its cape it was wearing at arms length. I couldn't believe my eyes.
This thing was carrying insect like creatures, three of them hanging upside down. They were the least a foot long. Each of them and their heads were more triangular in shape with large eyes. The next thing I know gun fire started. The creature was being killed by the being I was with and who ever was outside that door. Pieces of the creatures head was being blown off and pieces of the insect like creature hanging in the cloak were being blown off. The screams that thing made I will never forget. The creature fell against the wall behind it and then to the floor. I stood there shaking I couldn't even move.
The being I was with told me to stay where I was and that it was going outside. I replied, "Oh no you don't, not without me ." The being answered , "as you wish, come." I followed the being outside. We looked around and saw no other being around. I don't know who or what was shooting through that door at that creature but they were no where in sight. "We must go nothing more can be done here." I replied, "lets get the hell out of here." We walked past the dead ones in which the sight of them will be forever burned in my memory. We got back under the cr
