This is odd. No one really considers ANY HU deck to be taboo. Does this mean HUs are never annoying? Are all HU decks saintly and perfect? I don't think so. All Arkz decks aren't either. But you never HEAR about how 'lame cheater' HUs are. What's up with that?
There's a double Sil'fer deck out there that's dammed irritating. The sil'fers set a bunch of fixes and then.....let's not write out the rest. What about HU decks that consist of 75% blocker cards? How about Inolis putting on a jillion canes and going tech crazy? Viviana raising her TP mega high with the dice bonus? Consider also that (I am not aware of right now) any monster that has AP/HP swap perm vs. attack victim *built in* (a la windmill) or action disrupter *built in* like the Kaladbolg and Genbu. Yes an Arkz CAN get those effects, but not without playing another card and using action points.
Oh come now. =P I don't believe that there is such a thing as a cheap deck. Theres always a way to counter everything.
Spam decks? play a skip set card! (maybe even slow time) once you get rid of a few low cost monsters the poor arkz will be helpless to your high HP cards. (note: territory cards work nicely too)
and you can get rid of the breeding slimes with territory assist cards as well!
Not to mention, ANY assist card can simply overlap an immortality card, leaving Reiz vulnerable.
Ino'lis got too many canes? Well a simple gizonde with heavy rampage can fix that (or anything else with heavy rampage).
Annoyed with guarding cards? they have lock on 1, lock on 2, and lock on 3 action cards there for a reason. Even the egg rappy has an automatic lock on 2 DEF disable! No guard cards allowed, no TP defense cards allowed. Unless you have something that causes ability trap. (see? you can even counter the counters!)
So dont say that theres a majority of cheap arkz OR hunter players out there. Most people are just too lazy to think up counter deck strategies to beat them. ^_^
