According to what I heard when you match one to a specific ID, something special is suppose to cmoe from it... but I can't figure out what it is I currently have a Purpleum Card. Even the printable Rare Chart from this site is showing the phrase: Match this to the correct ID... on it. One of you experts out there care to explain this to me

Can you give me a link to where you read this ?

ID cards do nothing, they are even bad weapons. They just look cool, are incredibly rare and are here for bragging rights mostly.

Yeah, this is both wrong and outdayed, indeed.

Maybe they meant that it can only be found in the corresponding Section ID, but that's incredibly obvious.

So yeah, they do nothing, they are just very rare.

Very rare is an understatement.

I've played well over 3000 hours and never saw a single card. A friend got a Greenil card drop once - and that's it. None of the folks I run with have ever gotten a section id card drop ever.

If you get one, it's pretty special - even though it's crappy.

Oh well... I'll probably just keep using it anyway just because I like them. Anyway thanks for the information .

ok, theres no point in still using it unless you really have like a lvl 150+ cause you should use your best at all times... its quite risky in my opinion, thats all.

Ah... whatever. I've never been one to simplely use a weapon because it's effective or ineffective anyway. I use weapons I merely like over there abilities. Besides my FO doesn't have enough MST at the moment to use anything else. The good point of the cards is there fairly strong for a rare FO weapon that only requires 200 MST.

That's true. You could use them to tweak a low-level character.
