Has any1 else here noticed that whenever you go to a Fast Food Burger Joint, they only server Coke products? What gives? I would love to have a Mt. Dew to go w/my Big Mac, or my Whopper, ect. ect. Sure Pizza Hut and Taco Bell have Pepsi products, but if McDonalds has Coke products, why wouldn't their competitors Wendy's and Burger King go w/Pepsi? COME ON ALREADY!

If I remember correctly, internationally Coke is much more popular than Pepsi. I also believe Coke has a very slight lead in US sales.
The chains are the ones that choose the soda, and they just choose Coke (maybe due to its popularity?). And what would a place do if they have two competetors and one sold Coke, and the other Pepsi?
The only complaint I have against Soda served at places like that are the lack of options. I would love for places to start carrying Vanilla, Diet Vanilla, Cherry, Diet Cherry, etc.

It's be stupid for a restaurant to serve the second most popular soda, would'nt it?
I doubt there are any laws prohibiting them from selling both products, but it comes down to spending money on consumables that have a shelf life. Can't have tons of soda waiting to be drank and having it go bad just to give everyone tons of options, yeah?
I say you make a complaint about it, to the manager of each establishment you visit.
You, might just be able to change a little part of america.
....that no one else prolly cares about. =]

What I hate about Coke is that people act like they can tell the difference between it and Pepsi. THERE'S NO FUCKING DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO COLAS SO JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP.
...on a related note, dont they both basically just slightly mirror each other's sodas but with a little more/less sweetness and a different name?

To some people there is a huge difference (including me, I can tell the difference in both a taste and smell test). Some people like one and not the other.
Like you said, sweetness and name are the major differences. Also, for some of the "other" types of soda (such as Vanilla and Cherry), the amount of flavoring they use is different (Vanilla Pepsi has much more of a Vanilla flavor than Vanilla Coke).
And the nutrition information is slightly different. I believe that a 12 oz can of Coke has 10 or 20 less calories than a 12 oz can of Pepsi.

I an tell the difference.
Pepsi is too sweet, leaves you thirstier than coke, and it makes me feel like I need to brush my teeth REALLY bad.

I tell no difference with Coke and Pepsi. It's soda, so who really cares?

Wow Grey, you are way off there. I can tell the difference, but I preferr Mt. Dew. Since Mt. Dew is a Pepsi product, I wish more chains carried Pepsi products.

Coke > Pepsi
kthxbai?
Seriously though, Pepsi just tastes rank. About the only Pepsi product I enjoy is Dr. Pepper, that's good stuff.
