Its about time i bitched a bit.

I am gonna talk about Envy. No not the Shapeshifter in that anime, i mean real envy. Jealousy. The feeling bitter towards certain people having something that the enviest doesn't.

For a lame example, Lil jin is jealous that lil ken has a new toy car.

While my envy isn't something so simple as this its still the same idea.

People have what i don't. Or rather HAD. Yeah this story again, why don't i just fucking drop it?

It isn't about that thats getting me this time, its the fact i don't WANT to be scornful to the people who have what i don't. I don't want to make grudges against people for such a stupid thing as jealousy. And this god damn wanting to hate yet doesn't has finally got me off the bitter end.
Pssh, Jealousy sucks.

Does anyone else have this sorta issue? Your scornful at someone that you cannot hare?

Sloth is my national sport. If it wasn't for that, I'd be kicking the ass of all the classes I'm taking right now.

My biggest sin...

"Thou shall honor thy father and mother..."

Yes, I have some issues with my family in general. I can't really help myself but sometimes wish ill things upon them, although it is not correct to do so, I can not forgive them for the way I came to be and how hard and miserable they made my last years with them and how they often mocked my opinions, choices and MY way of life.

*Deep breath*

Okay, with that out of my chest, I know I will get my just punishment for my sin, one of the main reasons I try to live my days to the fullest, since I know my life will probably be short.

Hope I did stay on topic with this post >.>;;;

I can relate to you Nasca... I just wish I could grab my sister's head and rip it off her shoulders, pulling the spinal cord out of her body then hanging my parents with it while beating them with the skull...

Or something...

But if you can't control the situation, the only thing you can really do is control yourself, I guess...

Hmm according to Thomas Aquinas, I'd say Pride is my major sin:

... the root of pride is found to consist in man not being, in some way, subject to God and His rule.
-Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologiae

Then again, according to Geoffrey Chaucer, it'd be Anger:

the fervent blood of Man yquyked in his herte, thurgh which he wole harm to hym that he hateth.
-Geoffrey Chaucer, The Canterbury Tales

Ah and by seeing what's being said about Gluttony, it could very well be that too:

Ambition was the original sin of the ancient Mithraic sect (from which the Deadly Sins are alledgedly ripped off), but "when it changed sides and became a virtue, Gluttony was summoned to take its place."
-The Travelers' Guide to Hell

soOOoo if I'd ever end up in hell 'cause of those sins of mine, I'd likely be broken on the wheel AND dismembered alive; all that while being forced-fed rats, toads, and snakes ... how nice :3

Sloth is the one for me. It's probably fueled by my whole idea that existence is meaningless.

The poor are jealous of the rich.
The lonely are jealous of the lovers.
The old are jealous of the young, and vice versa.

Yeah, I've felt that way before. Loads of times. Everyday we wish for something that either doesnt exist or cannot be obtained.

Often for what we once had.

And it really sucks

One day we will all be rich, young, lovers.

All kidding aside though...

Right you are; but when you think about what you don't have, you then can find solace in what you do have, no?

There are religions that are based on giving up material things, and the like.

It would be cool to live without the hustle and bustle of metropolis' and million dollar homes and cars, but it will be a tough life to find and master.

College degrees and the income that (usually)comes with them are viewed as something that should be obtained and compared to.

It is part of the lives we choose to live. Other ways of life have other rules and tiers of accomplishment.

That being said I too am jealous every now and then but I know that there are others just as jealous of me and my material things.

Things could always be worse.
Enjoy what you have accomplished and have been able to own up to this point and go after anything else you want.
