Just some critique on Underground Desert by me.

Graphics: Stunning, best Phantasy Star Online area I have ever seen. SEGA probably wasted 60% of their budget for this area. The lighting is beautiful with scenes of light rays coming from the cracks of the crater and with different portions of the room in dark and light.

Each room has their own animation like any other PSO area. In Desert, you would see sands coming down in many rooms and sands slowly piling (not literally but you see an animation)on top of eachother.

Structurally, each room are fairly large and some with their own pillars. Wilds flowers are aligned along near bases of walls with some flower which can poison you ! Also cacti make an appearrance again with their little pricky thorns that damage you. Sometimes you might not see a cactus on the ground and accidentally get trapped by it and get owned by monsters that are chasing you @_@ Around you might encounter some rocks which you can go stand on.

Rooms vary from place to place. There are 2 generic rooms and 2 generic halls. Lots of healling rings present (great news for FOs). Most of the other rooms are all different and vary from structure to structure.

Gameplay:
Pretty damn difficult with the Gorans. With their super long range and warping abilities, they prove hard to stun as a RAmarl. Because gorans warp frequently, it can render Frozen Shooter rather useless at times since the warping effect can cancel the freeze ability of Frozen Shooter and may possibly affect techniques as well. Gorans don't attack too fast but they make it up with their walking and teleporting speeds.

The piron goran has an excellent range which is comparable to a handgun. Nasty I say. Androids do pretty well here since their trap support help a lot.

Lizards as usual are a bitch. ATA is needed badly here because if you tangle with the lizards in the old melee fashion and don't stun or freeze them, their deadly gases combined together can kill you.

Zuu are bitches as usual. Because they move fast and knock the wind out of you, they definitely have the upper ground. Combined with the takedown attack, Zuu immediately charges ariel beam and tries to kill you or hit you and leave you weak for other enemies. Zuus combined together can definitely make your head spin since they attack in a circle fashion. The best way to stop them is to hit them once so that the attack pattern stops for a bit. Of course when you do that, make sure there are no lizards around you otherwise they might get the upper hand and gas you to death.

Now what makes this all so deadly altogether...
You got Zuus attacking you from the air, you got Gorans that attack you with range, and you got the lizards that attack you melee with damage that is like fixed (i havent been able to defend against any of their damage ;_ Combined together you can never block all of them frmo attack thus when they land a shot on you, you get stunned and all the other monsters get their chance to gang bang you.

Other than that... best map I've see so far for PSO.

If one character was different, it could have been a Goran Detonater..

Couldn't "Goran Detonaata" be translated as Goran Detonater? Sorry though if there's an actual dictionary translation for detonator.
