i found that you can block 100% of the time from certain enemies (saves on resta/mate, usage), with high enough EVP ... altho this was on hard mode with a lvl 45+ RAmar using Delsaber sheild and buster.

I suppose it would be near impossible to get high enough EVP to 100% block , Vhard/Ultimate enemies.

i think i'll increase defense, that just seems the best choice right now, but what about units like dragon/HP? would that be any better? or should i just stick with defense? a combonation perhaps? let me know

Example would be the light blue spheres that Falz uses to attack you in third form.
Dark Falz is a bad example, sicne I think that's based off HP.

Sinows would be a better example I think

yeah, bosses are bad examples. also, for the most part those blue spheres are avoidable (well, at least for my ninja skillz (tm) ).

i'd say dfp, because most classes tend to work off of that at a high lvl. some classes have really high evp, which can be worked into really nice blockalicious fun, but otherwise i have better things to use my armor slots for. and if anything, i'd use my material slots for HP material, because bloat is insanely useful for most classes. and somewhere around ult. ruins evp just starts taking too long to reach blockalicious fun.

about no-knockdown and block-lock, meh. i'm of the mind that this really shouldn't be a huge problem, either of them. after a while you should memorize where enemies spawn, and more importantly not let yourself get surrounded so easily. it happens, but for the most part it is highly avoidable. that's what schooling mobs and flinching is for, locks most mobs in a ball and ties 'em up while one keeps failing to attack. and with telepipes hotkeyed (mostly on 'droids) it should never happen (animation to drop and pop is too fast for enemies to surround). so i don't put much issue on that for this discussion. too often people forget to 'bravely run away' and reset the mobs.

As for the part about Falz's blue projectile attack, I think it hits multiple times online if you can keep standing after the 1st hit, so I'm not sure a 'mate would help much. I haven't tested this though, so I may be wrong. All I know is that if you can stay standing after the projectile hits, it's likely you'll get hurt/killed by the remnants of the volley.
I have never known for it to be used in succession like that. I've always had plenty of time for a quick resta/mate.

If you are meleeing, DFP is better, if you are ranging, EVP is better.

That's the general rule.
