No one would have voted for Al Gore, since what he "created" would not exist.

Imagine how it would have affected the cell phoine industry. Better, worse? Better since no more BS ringtone/text message/picture messaging for all the spoiled 4-18 year olds in the world. Worse since there would be no wireless internet for laptops, LAN cafes, Palm Pilots-Treos-Sidekicks, etc.

Quite frankly, I doubt that any of that would exist without the Internet.

Well, no one can really say "exactly" how things would be, but I know I probably wouldn't have met even a small number of all the interesting and fun people I've met over the last 6 years on the internet. It's been a blast. ;o
