i've never went before, and nobody i knew has ever been to one. but i met this kid about 8 months ago, and really thinks that i should "hit up the club" because "all the stay-at-home college girls go there." is that actually true? i dont know, i need the facts before i go to one of these things. i dont want to be spending 10 bucks, get in there, and then turn around and leave

lol.. Non of the stay at home college girls are at the club..
You know were they are..
THERE STAYIN AT FRIKIN HOME.
I go to clubs, maybe 1 or twice a month..
These are the main things people are going to be dooing their, Mainly probably your friends.
-Drinking.
-Hittin on Chicks.(By Buying them drinks)
-Dancing. (Mainly if their Hitting on Chicks and drinking)
and -Hanging out.(Which includes ofcourse, all of the above..)
So if you like just 2 of those things it would be an ok experience.
But if you like 3 or more, than its worth your time.
It also helps if the guys your going with are good friends. I hate to go to a club with someone I barely know,,,, Well, unless its my date.
But I think you should go, at least once, that way you'll know if your missing out on anything. Just.... take designated driver, be responsible. And have fun.. It's all for nothing if you don't have fun...

well see, i cant really drink as of yet at the club, im not legal age. but i like to make it a regular thing where i drink outside of a club. if i went to canada, i could buy a girl a drink. unless i wanted to go with an old fashioned soda.
and this girl i havent talked to in about 4 months wants me to go to a club with her, because here in michigan, tiki bobs is pretty big i guess... and shes going to the club tonight and wanted me to go, but i have no money so i said i had something already planned. if im going to spend 20+ dollars tho, i dont wanna. and shes 19 too, so we could go to canada, but we havent really talked in a long time, so i could save that as a "second date" sort of thing... get a hotel room woooooooooweeeee
but seriously, i gotta know what im getting myself into, i need nitty gritty details on what goes on in there, because i have to act like a natural hah

i personally like to go to bars (no club music and less assholes). but occasionally ill go to clubs. my main reason is to let loose and drink a little. sometimes i get waisted but thats when i really let loose lol. but i just go mainly to have some fun. if i meet a woman then that's a plus ^_^.

I'm not really a clubgoer. I prefer house-parties and small get togethers with friends. I mean, at the parties there's even dancing so it's basically a club.

Not my scene. I don't go clubbing. I've never been out clubbing. Alot of my friends do and they often try to coax me out with them but I don't dance and I don't drink alchohol so it is kind of pointless. I'd also stick out too much ( that's provided that I can get in, even though I am 25 people often think I am a teenager ).
I do agree however that it can be a great place to meet people. Of course it all depends on what type of person you want to meet. I sincerely doubt that I will find my soulmate in a night club.

I occasionally go clubbing... but honestly not really a great place to meet people in my opinion. I usually just go to listen to awful/wonderful 80s music and dance a lot. Also I don't drink much and drinks at clubs are way expensive in most cases. Usually just grabbing a bunch of friends and going is good enough...

go once, get a feel for it, and then decide.
i despise clubbing, clubs and all things clubbing related. Bah!
Crappy dance/rave/techno played so loud u can't hear yourself drink, er, think, er both. Not bad if its a rock nite, but then again, there is only so many times u can listen to smells like teen spirit and sweet child O mine.
charging you to go in, long queues for bars, the toilets and trying to get around without bumping into tons of gimps is a challenge. Plus im not a dancer. im a head bopper.
and there not all that great for meeting new people, because u can't friggin talk to each other without inserting your vocal chords into someones ears. good for checking out the ladies though, as the clubbers generally wear less than ur typical bar-fly girl. thats a definite plus.
Thats why you gotta love bars. Less crowded, free in, plenty of seats (usually), a jukebox fulla good music (normally) and u can actually talk to people without shouting over shitty music! and i've managed to pick up more girls and accumilate more friends in bars than in clubs, due to the enhanced communication. And my wit. and charm. and good looks
and, well, bars feel more personal and welcoming. and u don't have to deal with dumbasses drugged outa their heads dancing around like somebody lit their ass on fire bumping into you and then picking a fight.
like i said, i like bars. but don't let me stop u, maybe ive just had enough of the local dives around here.
just remember to always watch ur drink, especially at clubs, u never know who might try to spike ur drink. but give it a go, you may like it. and not all clubs are shitholes.
PEACE!!!
