Run 1 player mode at low levels. Online mode is no place for people just starting out.

Decade long veteran of PSO, PSO Ep1&2, PSOBB, and PSUJP. Axel or VII will do.

if you are looking for players to help you lv-up online, there are a few things you can do..
-open as many offline areas as possible, so they are accessible online
-make arrangements in match-up board: timing is important
-get a keyboard if you are on gc: it helps with the communication

Blink & you'd miss it! ;3

I heard Dial-Up ran okay, only a tad slow...

Perhaps it's your computer?

go to hyperion block 5
go to options in the first menu before you open the game and turn your graphics all the way down.

Actually, online should be where people should start out!

It helps you get used to people, not to mention you have to do all those government quests and stuff.

Try the meet up section of PSOW to find peoplet o help you and then play!

Once every so often I tend to clear out my storage giving away materials, scape dolls and various other bits and pieces to the lower level players (or anyone that wants them).

Granted I asked if anyone wanted the materials in Hyperion 5 when it was busy and no-one replied. I just refuse to use them until I reach level 200.
