I don't know if you guys have noticed but the pictures which are in the blue burst intro of the enemies are quite identical to certain images I've seen somewhere else... Metroid Prime 2 for example?
If you look at the enemy pictures in there, well bless my sole! They're identical!

Could you offer some pictorial examples?

In my opinion, most of the ep4 designs are rather derivative of existing episode 1&2 monsters.
