Is my BBA dead!? - PSO-World.com Forums

I have tried everything to get PSO back online...I tried a regular connection, connecting to the DSL modem using PPPoE...none of it has worked. Than I connected it to a different router, and the bad connection light came on. I thought it might be a fluke (or the cable). But I changed the cable, and the bad connection light was STILL on. Could it be my BBA? It was sitting in a duffle bag being shuffled around for 8 hours a few days ago...

Try these steps out:
1. Disconnect your BBA from your GC, make sure all the contacts are clean, and reconnect.

2. Use a known, good cable

3. Try a different port on the router

Are you still getting the "bad" connection light after all of that?

Also, is there any way to verify that the router is working correct?

I assume that my router/modem is fine, seeing as how I'm on the internet now. I changed my router over to my other gamecube (yes, I have two.), I used two seperate cables, both of which are known good ones. And I plugged it into another router. Neither cable would work on either router.I'm gonna try connecting from a friends house and see how that goes. I really think my BBA is busted...

My BBA is fine...I was able to connect without problem at a friends house. I will have to look for the problem elsewhere...
