When to IGN.com today for stuff on AoE III, when I saw the ad for the Demo. This was better than I expected, so I spent over an hour downloading it.

Installed and ran the game. Didn't spend very long playing it (My video card only meets the requirements halfway.) But from what I can tell, this game is gonna be pretty fun. Still getting used to the controls and such. (You click a 'settler' and the build menu pops up instantly. Little odd at first.)

The screen is 'crunched' to me, despite buildings being MUCH smaller than they were in AoE II. (But just as detailed)

The map goes beyond the regular 'diamond' shape, and is now a circle.

You can't make your 'heroes' die by pressing delete. =/ (Either that it the command takes forever.)

Not much else to say, (I told you I didn't play very long.) But I will post more stuff as I progress in the Demo if anyone is interested.

I sure am. Thing is, players are gonna need a plutonion-powered engine to run that baby, with all those requirements.

The portuguese special unit is a guy riding a donkey!?
