I find myself in many projects...I have a few characters, but i find myself wanting so much! x[
With my Urgent goal of finding an SJS, along the way i think other weapons will help me get there, but with these other weapons, comes more leveling up of OTHER characters than my Skyly (which i should be focusing on). I think to myself that if i have more things, i can make it there much easier. But is it wrong to want that Orotiagito, Sange & Yasha, Heavens Punisher and God/crap while i try for something else? or is this just something that comes naturally and makes the game so great? I'm so confused.... x[

I think it's ok to think that way (that way being that you want more items to make it easier), but I personally wouldn't go for Heaven Punisher, cause that mite take a while to get. Other than that though, I think pretty much the same way (although I do have like 8 different characters, so I'm used to hopping around between them)

It's completely normal to want all the 12 stars... but it's very abnormal to ever get all of them.
Just pick a few things you want to get... don't go planning on getting all the uber rares at once or you will go insane. It can take months to get one of those things... or days. It's all based on you luck with those 1/299,954 odds.
Try to settle for the good stuff that's possible to get, but try to get one or two really really uber rare things for braging rights.

You'll get sidetracked so much in this game *remembers trying to hunt Ophelie Seize, BOVD, and Sange/Yasha at once*
What I'd say is try and focus on one, then you can get more and more kills of the monster that drops that item, and generally have more chance of getting it.
Obviously, some hunts would probably still be ok (I'm hunting the SJS, but when I'm bored, hunting a Frozen Shooter)
If you try hunting everything, you won't get as many of that enemy killed, and are less likely to obtain a drop. (that's from my personal experience)

Hmmm, pretty much what Uriko says. I'd suggest hunting some decent yet not too rare equipment to give you that edge in combat (for example, Spread Needle, Frozen Shooter and Red Mechs are my standard RA equipment and none of them are too hard to find) them, once you have some nice powerful stuff, go after the uber rare items you covet. It's usually a good idea to focus on one at a time but, if you get bored of running the same maps, try hunting 2 and alternating the quests. Oh, and good luck...

If you do decide to do Heavens Punisher and Sealed J-Sword, do them at the same time, via East Tower runs. Skyly HP is pretty easy to get, comparatively speaking of course. Though, personally, Sealed J-Sword is a pretty shoddy weapon, and turns into an even shoddier weapon. But, keep in mind, whatever time you spend hunting for that SJS, you are going to spend just about that much trying to unseal it. I did some rough calculations on that myself, for my HUnewearl, and found that she will probably be around level 183-184 before she can unseal it. Mind you she found it at level 177. It translates to a whole bunch of hours of work, thousands very likely. I'm not saying you shouldn't hunt for it, I'm just saying that if you don't have thousands of hours to put into the game you could better occupy your time hunting, other, better weapons. Or, you could just luck out like I did and find one when you weren't hunting for it. Good luck with whatever your choices may be.

I voted for that thing where it says you're weird and you should keep on searching...
But nevertheless, you should start out with the easier items to find, like those god/units. They'll help you make other hunts easier.

Yeah, Chain Sawd hits higher damage most of the time ;_; Although the TJS does have a massive amount of ATP for a multi-hit weapon
Oh, the original poster is offline-only I believe, which makes hunting the SJS and HP a massive task. Even online, Id recommend PW#4 2-floor runs over East Tower (though I guess there's some nice drops in East Tower). Of course, PW#4 2-floor runs is only good if you're hunting a drop from Gi Gue/Gibbles, since you only get 1 Ill Gill and 1 Del Lily. If you're after a lot of different drops, go East Tower.
Being offline though, the only option is Seaside runs (unless you have PSO Plus). I admire your dedication hunting the SJS this way, but it's one hell of a hard drop to get with only 1 Gi Gue per run.. I guess a lot of items are easier to get online though, so my point's a bit invalid.

I believe that the easiest thing to do is find an area with a good couple of drops that will help you, then do runs of there to get a couple of good peices of equipment like one or two that will help your harder more rare searches, once you have the better equipment this will make the harder rarer hunts go quicker so will reduce the time taken trawling through areas with poor equipment.
