I investigating the kinetics of a acid/metal reaction, but I need a chemical to use so that before the reaction it is coloured/colourless and after the reaction goes to colourless/coloured
so either: Coloured------>colourless Colourless---->Coloured If it helps im using Sulphuric acid and ethanoic acid with magnesium. |

I cant remember but if you use pthenalpthalene cant spell that at all, when it is an acid its bright pink then it changes to colourless when you react it with something, cant remember properly sorry.

is phenolphthalein what you are talking about? Yea sounds good, thanks, I hope it works.
