As part of PSO-World.com's 5th Anniversary Event, we are holding a Fan Art/Fan Fiction contest! Help us celebrate this special occasion by creating some Fan Art/Fan Fiction and submitting it for the contest! If you place in any of the categories, you will increase your chances at winning one of the lucrative Phantasy Star Universe pre-orders in the main raffle! Read below to see the exciting categories that have been setup and what other prizes you can win!

Rules:
All entries should either be related to the category for which they are being submitted. Submissions must be in by January 31. All submitted content should conform to forum rules. You are allowed to make multiple submissions, but may not submit an entry to multiple categories. Any works that are posted on PSOW (either in the Fan Works forum or appropriate Gallery) prior to the start of the contest are not eligible for submission. Also, any entries that are posted in Fan Works before the contest ends will be disqualified.

Judging Process:
Once the submission period has ended, special galleries will be setup - one for each category. PSO-World.com users will then have the chance to vote for their favorite piece in each category. The winner for a particular category will be the piece with the largest number of votes. Once voting has finished and a winner has been determined, results will be posted on the front page.

Prizes:
Prizes will be handed out for the first, second, and third place winners in each category. The prizes will vary depending on where you place.

A trophy is a special icon that will be displayed below your avatar on your profile and forum posts.

Submission Process:
All submissions should be sent using the Private Message system to either HUNewearl_Meira or myself. When you submit your entry, be sure to indicate what category you are submitting it for. Also, if you are submitting an image, be sure to send us a link to the location where it is hosted! If you need someplace to host your image, check out Photobucket.com. If you are submitting a short story, just copy and paste the entry into the Private Message.

Humorous Fan Art
Fan Art with jokes related to PSO-World, Phantasy Star Online, or Phantasy Star Universe. Whether it's stick-figures or high-quality CGs, keep it clean and make it as funny as possible. Judged on humor.

Humorous Short Story
Write a humorous short story about Phantasy Star Online! Entries should be less than 300 words. Judged on humor.

Rappy Party! - Fan Art
The Rappy has served as PSO-World's unofficial mascot for several years. Let's show our appreciation for this guy! This is a Fan Art category. All entries featuring rappies should be placed in this category. Judged on creativity.

Phantasy Star Universe - Fan Art
Phantasy Star Universe is set to be Sonic Team's next major release in the Phantasy Star franchise and will be an important topic at PSO-World.com for the next several years. This is a Fan Art category. Entries into this category should be related to Phantasy Star Universe. Judged on quality.

Anything Goes (Well, Almost Anything...) - Fan Art
The only requisites for this category is that the image should be related to PSO-World, Phantasy Star, or Phantasy Star Online. Judged on general awesomeness.

Media - Fan Media
All Flash, movie, and sound files should be submitted here. The work should be about PSO-World, Phantasy Star, or Phantasy Star Online. Limited collaboration is allowed for this category. Examples of limited collaboration include using extras in videos and providing voice work. The person that submits the entry is the one that will win any potential prizes. Judged on general awesomeness.

You have to submit at least one...

You can submit as many/few pictures as you want as long as you follow the rules.

Where did you get the idea that you have to submit a bunch of them?
