There's only one thing worse than getting a photon-drop: rares that you'll just throw right back down on the ground (or won't even pick up since you know what it is).

So, what, in your humble opinions, are the most useless rares?

For me, it's a toss up between TP/Revival and HP/Revival. PB/Create however... <3<3<3

the most useless rare to me is:

blue burst: infantry mantle. its very weak and has a level 76 req on it even though a level 54 armor can be stronger hehe.

Gamecube: demonic fork IMO. megid can now penitrate... if you want to use megid just make a fonewearl...

For my...

Skyly: Justy 23ST (found one with 55% hit)
Purplenum: L&K14 Combat (found a 55% hit, and a 45%)
Redria: Diska of Braveman (found a 20% hit and 45%)
Pinkal: Storm Wand: Indra
Whitill: Diska of Braveman/L&K14 Combats
Yellowboze: Photon Claw (haven't had him long)

Some of those weapons can actually be good though, when you find a decent hit%.

Edit: Also, getting PD's rocks. It's much better than the aforesaid junk that I would usually get.

I dunno what people's problems with Justy's are. I rather like 'em since you can get hit% on it and have rifle range. I suppose if I found a Demon Laser I'd be using that more but meh.

Also, Proto Regeneration Gear.

Custom Ray and Kaladbolg come to mind. Photon Launchers too. -_-

[EDIT]I don't hate PDs so much. It's just a tease when you're hunting for something specific.

Im so sick of all the mechguns I find. But then, its my fault for picking Purplenum. It just matched my character so I stuck with it all this time. In particular, I have the worst luck with L&K14s. Im ALWAYS finding them. Recently, I found 1 with a good % & even a hit %. Im probably just gonna have my RAcast use it, Idk. Also, the Merge shields. I wish they had a higher lvl min so they could actually be useful. I save the ones I find & create but really dont help much.

Oh & the crap rares I tend to sell for 10 meseta each. Idk why I dont just leave em on the ground. I guess I just get so excited to find a red box after awhile that I cant simply discard it. I either keep it or sell it.

Whiteninja, I have to say that Redria's more useless rare is the Diska of Crapper--I mean, Liberator.

Actually my bluefull char found maybe 3 Brionac in all her career (1150h)- but well over 500 Gae Bolgs...

My personal pet peeve are shields and units. I only pick up the ones I might be able to trade off. (Attribute series, Set of Customs, Set of Flowens, Set of DB, Lieutenant Mantle, Kazami, Invisible Guard...)

1. Amore Rose is nice. Not useful, but, looks cool.
2. Vjaya must be spanish for "I like being poor." - LMAO Thats hilarious.
3. Partisans are decent for attacking a few opponents at once. The prob is getting one with a decent special attack on it. A hit % would naturally help too. Not all of the partisans are bad, however with how my chars set up as they are, the ones that tend to find them are the ones that cant really use them.
4. Whats with finding items on Hard or V-Hard? By the time youre strong enough to find items with ease (Ultimate), youre really sacrificing EXP for the 'chance' at finding rares. Doh!
