In all honesty, at the very least it would have been better if they had made strides to keep the community all together--as in, not split between different consoles.
The series has suffered a bit from the limitations of console development. Version 2, Episode 2, and Episode 4, if the series had made its home on PC from the start, would have simply been released as expansions. But moving the game from console to console without any centralized place for character data...
I suppose an earlier shift to server-side saving probably would have facilitated this, but alas, what's done is done.

Wel...not really...let's talk about Blizzard, you buy the license with the game, they make updates...they have online activity, they even offer a much greater variaty of characters than PSO yet in a Lord of the Rings world and it costs...0, that's where I'm aiming at, all good and popular online RPG games are free...yet Sega's are not, besides they are expensive if I may say so...that's where I wanted to arrive at, hehe.

You're not talking about World of Warcraft, are you? Because that game is anything
but free. And as far as I know that's there only active online RPG? The rest of their online library are RTS titles.
