One of the sections that I would like to incorporate into the Site History is a list of "Memorable Threads." This would be a list of threads that users found to be particulary remarkable or noteworthy. So, I'd like it if people would post links to old threads and say a few words about why they found it to be memorable. The thread can be from any forum on PSOW. After a suitable amount of time has passed, I'll add the links and phrases to the guide.

Would FKL topics be ok?

Oh, and would topics that went sour be unwanted?

When I saw this thread, I thought of Sealed J-Sword.

The Ended Theory (Sealed J-Sword) - This thread is damn epic. And massive.

Confirmed method of unsealing Sealed J-Sword - The confirmation!

UNSEALEH'D w/ proof - It was a storybook moment. A legendary dude unsealed the Sealed J-Sword, and posted proof. One of PSO's biggest mysteries had finally, without a doubt, been solved.

Other people posted proof later, but Aura was one of the first I remember seeing, and his carries a lot of weight because he was already known for being a trustworthy figure, and was already famous, and thus had nothing to gain by unsealing it.

I'll get more threads later.

FKL Topics would be ok, even ones featured in the recent maze.

I would prefer to keep things "positive," but I'll keep an open mind if people linked to locked threads.

Provide some links!

EDIT: Let me make an addition:
Abdur's Radio Shows: http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.p...orum=9&start=0
- Before Abdur became famous, he did freelance work as a DJ.

Yeah, same here. Only ones I can remember are ones that went pages because of opinion crossfire in the PSO sections.

Maybe topics that were turned into guides?

The original Character Gallery?
http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.p...7&forum=1&2393
I dunno if it was the first really huge snapshot topic or not, but I know before it was started there weren't any topics for at least awhile similiar to it. And it led to all the new snapshot topics.

I guess you could also count the orignal BB snapshot thread too.
http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.p...93&forum=1&124
But that seemed less towards neat snapshots, and just BB being new in general. It just doesn't seem AS special as the first character gallery, is what I'm saying. >_>(And most of the images are broken now)

You guys are trying too hard here. I'm not looking for anything in particular. A "memorable" thread could just be one that you had a lot of fun posting in or received a large number of unique responses. The thread doesn't have to be PSO related. Something like the old DTPA/A-DTPA threads work.

cutegrl88's "i need a bf" topic:
http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.p...09085&forum=14

Maridia's subsequent parody:
http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.p...3&forum=14&217

These two together are quite hilarious. I had bust a gut once reading some replies to both topics. The idea that's portrayed by some of the "on topic" replies is of a bunch of guys flinging themselves at a girl, although neither of the topics were serious at all.

Or were they?

Skorp's Blog Topic
http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.p...99847&forum=14

A long topic that was basically an open diary for anyone that wanted to use it. Although it eventually died, it was a popular topic for about a week or two.

Skorp's really a girl!
http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.p...96588&forum=14

Me acting like an attention whore. This one has been mentioned a few times since it's death, I figure it's well known.

Skorp's Underrated weapons?
http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.p...=92754&forum=7

I don't know why this is memorable.

How are those? o:
