1 Corinthians 13 Love suffers long, is kind, envies not, isn't puffed up, doesn't behave unseemly, seeks not it's own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil, rejoices not in sin, but rejoices in truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, love never fails... That was intentional :/

Actually, Sublime should be in there...thanks.

A few more I see missing off the top of my head:

From Fiction
PARACOCCIDIOIDOMICOSISPROCTITISSARCOMUCOSIS
Band of Horses

I'll look through my current list and see what else I missed.

Rock music?

Well, Feeder are quite a good band, Ive been into them for sometime now. Their last album (Pushing the Senses) was a bit of a disapointment, but their older stuff is really good. 'Yesterday Went to Soon' is one of my favourite albums, and 'Just a Day' is a classic single.

An artist Ive just started getting into is John Frusciante. He's the guitarist for the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, but has doen quite a few solo albums. Apparently a lot of these albums are written, recorded and published in a few months. He does some excellent guiter work, and some of the songs are very personal. He has quite a few tracks to download legally from his website: http://www.johnfrusciante.com/demos.php

I recomend his 'Inside of Emptiness' album, and I love the track 'What I Saw' from it.

A friend turned me onto Hooverphonic after randomly LEGALLY PURCHASING *ahem* one of their albums. It's really light, moody stuff, kind of like the soundtrack to a movie you wish existed. Singer can sing her ass off too. Nice stuff to mellow out to.

I'd throw Goldfrapp in there too, but be warned their newer stuff is a bit more electronica-influenced. First album, however is nice and mellow.

Alice In Chains for a nice dose of grungey ugly rock (especially if you go for the self-titled). Damn good acoustic EPs too. Jerry Cantrell's solo work is alright, too.

Arctic Monkeys are okay, but I've been hearing a lot of negativity toward them lately. Tends to happen when an indie crowd "loses their band" and other people might know of them. A decently fun record though, if nothing all that special or spectacular.

And for overindulgence and bombast with a bit of pop tendency, I'd suggest Muse. I hate the comparison, but most people consider them a heavier Radiohead.
