After playing for 3 years, i've finally decided to get into Battle Mode a bit more- just for fun, none of this ultra-competitive rubbish.

Anyway, I play a HUnewearl, Lv182, and have, what I think is decent gear. Any advice on how to improve this gear, or general battle tips?

Gear:
Weapons: Orotiagito, Kamui, Demolition Comet, Charge Vulcans
Armour: Blue Odoshi Violet Nimaidou
Slots: Perfect/Resist, Heavenly/Arms, Cure/Freeze, Centurion/Ability
Shield: Kasami Bracer/Attribute Wall
Mag: Sato (5/150/45/0)

Ideally, I'd like to be different from the normal- in that, I don't want to be another clone with Red Saber/Crimson Coat. I'm after a higher EVP Kasami, and would love to round this out with either Sange&Yasha or Jizai (when available).

Any other advice? Can't believe I'm only just starting Battle at this stage XD

Dawn will break through blackest night.

Just remember to use the "Resta-doesn't-heal-others" trick. Or anything that can be shared. Just cast it as soon as you are about to get up from a knock down. They shouldn't receive the buff...

And make sure you are ruthless. Even with low health.

my advice would be to find a room with only 1 way in and wait so that u can hit the door entrance with your vulcans and fire away works especially well if there are just 2 of u, and of course even if they have hacked weps they wont have a chance to use them.

I for one love battle mode, I wish more players got involved, its fun once you learn the mechanics..Anyways, I suggest using your demo comet for now, but in the mean time hunt for stronger twin type weapon such as bkb or cmode for srank twin and add berserk/spirit for special..Also a strong saber would be of good use, such as the flameberge..because it has spirit special..Also use light attacks primarily, and end hard attack, or just go all light...light attacks have more accuracy so less chance of your enemy blocking your attacks, and much faster swings...
There are tons of tips for battle: I suggest you look at battle mode thread on psobb.com for more help..
