Well, I am hooked up to my school's network. I get my own static IP address, and other stuff like that (subset mask, gateway, etc.).

Anyway, I want to use my gamecube on the network so I can play PSO. And I don't want to buy a router just to hook my gamecube up.

I heard, though, that you could get another NIC card for my PC, and then run a mini network (I guess it would be) like that. Would that work - keep in mind, it's for my gamecube, not another PC.

Because I'd much rather spend $15-20 than $80 for a router...

Thanks for posting this, as I'm not too keen on paying $80 just to use both my X-box and comp online at the same time x_x

If you have another network card, routing software works =>.>=;;; I got neko set up with winroute lite... Just have to use the ports listed on the windows ME - DC server help page.
