Two notes:
1. It's not gameplay footage... dissapointing. Though it still is a fairly cool, if short, movie. 2. The movie was, according to Bungie, completely real-time and running on their new engine. Though, they most likely touched up the cutscenes a bit.

As for Halo 3, I have no plans of getting an X360, so consequently won't be buying it. Still, knowing what Halo 1 and 2 were like, it'll likely be a decent enough game. UT2007 ftw  Dawn will break through blackest night. |

As a Halo Player that knows whats going on. The trailer was amazing. Opened up so many questions and made me really pumped for the release.

Heh, actually, as a Halo player, I found it to be nice, but nothing amazing.
I don't get the same rush out of this trailer as I did the Halo 2 trailer. It's subtle, though, which is nice. I'm sure that Halo 3 will tie up the series well enough. It's a shame that we'll never see a stage like the early Halo 2 demo level, though. It looks like most of Earth's forces are wiped out now. Regardless, the trailer is quite pretty, and certainly nice for Halo fans. Worth a look.  |

I like FPS in general, so I'm probably gonna get Halo 3. That's if I get a 360 though.
