Well, this message is mainly for the newbs...people have been getting the release date confused. Just because the release date says the 29th doesn't mean you get it the 29th. You have to take into consideration that the vender has to ship it to the store, adding an extra day. So really, we'll be getting PSO on the 30th, even if you buy it from a store. Don't say I don't know what I'm talking about, because I just called EB and asked myself. Merlin, correct me if I'm wrong, but I have a 95% feeling that I'm right....

RELEASE DATE DEFINITION = DAY THE ACTUAL GAME IS RELEASED FROM THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPER AND IS COMPLETE AND READY TO BE SHIPPED.
Therfore Frosty is correct....it might not arrive to other stores until Oct 4th or 5th. but EB usually gets their games the DAY OF or AFTER it's release. and if you pre-ordered the game. You'll probably be getting it SHIPPED TO YOUR HOUSE so you'd, add another 2 - 3 days given that. i'd assume anyone who pre-oped it will get it about October 3rd - 6th at the latest.

Yer mostly right, but I dunno.. Sometimes some places get their games on the release date. I know my Wal-Mart had Kingdom Hearts in on the release date. That's been my latest experience with that, though. Then again... Kingdom Hearts was a more popular, more commercialized game than most are, today. And while PSO DOES have a cult following, it's not terrbly popular. So I can see most stores being lax on getting it in quickly, or even in getting the game at all. *Shrugs* We'll see.

Well, perhaps I should restate that. I'm not guaranteeing the game will be out the 30th, I'm just throwing it out as a what if. I doubt it'll be out in this area on the 29th. If the venders can ship out PSO to this area, more power to them. We'll just have to wait and see I guess...

Only four days away....I still doubt it's coming out then.....maybe the release dates are old?

Yea, but for safety reasons I will be calling my local Gamestop store in the afternoon, just to make sure.

Last time I checked, the release date meant that the game will be ready to be bought from a store. Meaning that the game should be in your local game store on the date specified.
