I'm going to take a hiatus from Ragnarok Online, some of it being cuz I'm getting a bit bored but MOST of it being because of the Community of RO and the GM(game masters/staff). I swear, it use to be alright when I first started but now its just going down and though the GMs and staff are kind of doing something, theres a WHOLE lot more they could do to end some of these problems.

1.) The Bots.(People that use a program that lets their computer level up their character while the user is away) Bots have been around for the longest but I think if the GMs and staff focus a lot more on creating a system that'll stop botting, then they can easily get rid of maybe not all, but a good amount of bots.

Not only that but the GMs response to botters is slow UNLESS theres a good amount of people complaining for I report about a good 30 bots a day but since I train and hang out on maps that have very few players on it, the GMs response is so slow and the same bots be there for days.

But I wouldn't mind as much if the bots just attacked their OWN enemy. It pisses you off when you have to leave a good map because you have mindless Bots attacking your enemy and kill stealing your experience. But lemme add, that they are doing a way better job in eliminating bots than how they did in the past so I do give them that. But I just wish they can just create something that'll just eliminate them all together.(Maybe I'm just asking for to much lol)

But lemme say that this is the least of my annoyances. I relaly don't mind the bots, as long as they don't attack my enemy.


2.) The Community of RO has gone down and because of the countless noobs and jerks, a lot of vetran players I know have left. I feel that when you first start the game, there should be a big window that pops up that explains certain guidelines and ways not to act(but I doubt that'll work). Its bad enough that you ask me for Money,Weapons or a Tank but if I deny tanking you then don't give me you nasty attitude and threaten to report me. I remember this one conversation I had while I was sitting in Payon Caves.

I don't even think its a noob problem but more of just the player being a dumbass. When I first started I didn't even ask for tanks(the only time I was tanked in my life was for a guild and we tanked each other) and I've never asked for money or items.

3.) Jerks.And then you have the jerks. People that go around bragging about their character (most of them botted to get to their current level), or treating innocents wrong. I swear, people nowadays have some of the nastiest attitude. I remember once in Payon Caves(I play on Chaos server)that a bunch of jerks tried blocking off people and telling people to leave the caves and started cussing out those that try to come in.

I also hate when people hijack my warps. One time I created a warp just for me and my friends and before I knew it, every damn person hijaked it and went into it.

And I also hate how you have some jerk acolytes/priests that'll see you fighting a monster and HEAL the damn monster.

4.) Transcendent Class. I am still pissed at how difficult it is to get to a transcendent class. I'm at lv.70 and it takes me about a good week (playing for about 4-3 hrs a day) to gain a level. In order to reach transcendent you have to get to level 100, re start to lv.1 and then get back to job level 40 (you'll be around Level 50-60) in order to get a transcendent class. It takes about 2 months for me to get to job level 40.

It is almost impossible to do this if you have a LIFE! Even if you remotely have a life its almsot impossible. But there are people that play 24/7 (or just been playing since forever) and there usually the ones to become transcendent.

All these problems are just getting at me and I think I need a break before I crack.(I keep telling myself, its jsut a game) but I'm just getting tired and I think the staff/gms can do a whole lot better in maintaining order in the game.

All of your points is exactly why I stopped playing iRO. They screwed up horribly on their leveling. I remember playing about a year or two ago with polished down in Chiv2(This was back when it was only radrics and jokers). He was a level 9x Hunter and I was a support priest. All we would do for hours is I would heal slave him and then after we were done I would get all the drops. Well usually when we were all done we would joke around because he would only gain like 10% in that whole time of playing.

The only thing I have to say to help out would be go to a private server. They make the game feel like you are doing something. The bad thing about private servers is the community is not much better.

Yes, they should ease up on the leveling.(Just a little bit >.<) Sometimes I play for about 4 hours and I would only gain about 1 or 2% experience.

And then it gets bad when your forced to join a party in order to level. Around my level 60 days I couldn't solo on anything that was worth the experience. And my stats were decent. I had a bunch of agility and agility boosting equips but one swap from certain monsters would kill me.

To be honest though, Assasin is a cool class but it has serious disadvantages compared to the Rogue and other classes.Unless you become an Assasin Cross BUT I already explained how I feel on Transcendent classes.
