After his success in a previous PSO World Contest, Jared_T failed to go to a Casino, let alone win a lottery. With the resulting proceeds, he didn't buy his own island, but decided to hold a contest of his own, nonetheless. Invitations were sent out, and upon arriving on Jared_T's not-island, contestants quickly discovered that they were exclusively in the company of other Fan Artists. They then discovered that they all were brought here for one thing, and one thing alone: They were brought here to draw... Phantasy Star characters in Swimsuits!

PSO World Contest: Phantasy Star Extreme Beach Volleyball

• Contest Rules:
  
• The theme is "Swimsuits" with an emphasis on beach volleyball. Entries do not necessarily need to include any sort of Volleyball reference (though this is encouraged), but they do necessarily need to include swimsuits.
• Entries are to feature characters from any Phantasy Star title.
• Included characters need not be female.
• Entries are to be submit with a sense of maturity, and are not to contain outright nudity. All entries are, in fact, to comply with Forum Rules.
• Entries are by Open Submission, meaning that this time, if you're itching to post your submission prior to the opening of the voting galleries, this will not disqualify you.
• Entrants are encouraged to submit multiple entries over the course of the contest period. We want to see a lot of swimsuits in Fan Works this summer!
• All entries must be recieved by 11:59:59PM on August 18, 2006. Entrants are to PM their entry to HUnewearl_Meira. Voting Galleries will open shortly thereafter.
• Jared_T will participate in the festivities, but will not be elligible for the prize, as he is providing it.
• There will be only one prize offered, and it will be for first place.
• Any questions may be directed to HUnewearl_Meira.
  
  What you are competing for:
  
• One (1) absolutely legal copy of Photoshop CS2. I imagine that any fan artist here can truely appreciate this offering. This prize has been provided by Jared_T.

Um.. OK! Welcome to my "NOT island"
I hope to see a lot of pictures over the summer and I hope that everyone has a lot of fun and maybe learn a few things.

Its a good excuse to study anatomy within the scope of the forum rules.

I would also like to thank the PSOW guys for the help and approval of this contest. And I would also like to thank Meira for posting my first NON-elligible entry.

On the one hand, I have an absolutely 0% chance of winning first place. On the other hand, that's $650 worth of software in case the other 100% should somehow fail to happen. AND I've been trying to draw a picture a month, so this could easily coincide with that. Arrrrrgh. I guess I'm in.

EDIT: Of course, the point is to produce quality viewing material for the audience, not necessarily to win. Of course. ...of course.
