OK, I've had this notion for a while, but I could never really verify it. I've noticed that in the case of Hildebears, Hildeblues, and Hildelts, each name consists of Hilde- plus an ending that includes two consonants. Furthermore, those two consonants represent (or a coincidence) that enemy's element.

Hildebear -> br -> burning
Hildeblue -> bl -> blizzard
Hildelt -> lt -> lightning

However, it could be that I'm just seeing what I want to see, that it's just a coincidence. What do you think?

Prob just coincidence, but you know what games from Japan are like, each name or place has a meaning, or is connected to something, or refers to something, or what not. I don't think 'bout things like that, I just think 'enemy, brain in kill mode, damn no rare mode, rinse and repeat'.

Family guy-Stewie>>>'Brian, i'll be surrounded by sea men. Sperm whales and sea men. oh look, a swallow.' <<<<<<best line ever.

Mere coincidence. You're just pulling letters out of each of the monsters name to make something new. It's just a coincidence.

That I can't do. However, they look somewhat different from the other three.

Hildetorr: Hildetortoise? Maybe it's due to the armor plating...

i dont think it is a quincidence actually. i never noticed b4 but i think they did get the name along them lines. and about the hildetor i do think they actually took it from the tortoise thing aswell.

after all every enemy in the game is a game version of an animal. ull notice em for example the forrest

bartle - turtle
barble - turtle
tallow - cricket
hildebear - bear
rappy - duck
savage wolf - wolf
barbarious wolf - wolf
mothvert - id assume moth from the name but id say more of a misketo myself

-PSO2 Character-
Name: ナユキ
Force level: 56 | Subclass Techer level 49
Race: Newman
Gender : Female
Play location: Ship 2, play in random blocks. Block 20 as a last resort.

Actually, Rappies have existed in the PS continuity since the original III... and look a bit more like chickens than ducks. Or maybe ectomorphic parrots... hmm.

What about dimenians, delsabers, boomas, and bulclaws?

They don't seem to resemble anything, and their names give no clue at all
