I was wondering what some good Force weapons are, because I'm not really... Force, like.
Also, how should I work with traps on a HUcast?

It depends on how you play. If you use techs only, go with weapons that rais Mst. The prefered one I use when my characters are able, I use Summit Moons. Hildbear and Hildblue canes work great too.

if you're tech based, weapons that boost techs are nice. club of laconium boosts foie by 40% club of zumurian boosts zonde by 40% and the ice one (cant remember the name) boosts barta by 40%. ice staff dagon, storm wand indra, and fire scepter angi each give a moderate boost to their respective elements. (can't remember the %s)

There are 3 standard, 9-star, easy-to-get FO weapons that work great for tech FOs:
-Fire Scepter: AGNI
-Ice Staff: DAGON
-Storm Wand: INDRA
Beyond that there's Summit Moon, and my personal preference which is Twinkle Star. I find the 20% to Norm techs to be a lot more useful.
As for traps, you generally want to bait enemies into a large group and unleash your trap. As you progress through higher difficulty levels, the trap detonation timeframe gets less and less, meaning that once the trap is triggered it explodes faster. Freeze Traps are good for using recovery weapons like Chain Sawd, where you can hit enemies without the worry of getting struck back. Confuse traps are probably more effective at higher levels, where you can swing away with a sword while the enemies attack each other. There's usually a few monsters who will diverge from the pack and start targeting you, but you can pick them off easily while the rest of the swarm focuses on hitting up each other.

That's ok. So far I have had two that used weapons. Trifluids cost alot in normal. I raised a mind mag for one of them, now raising one for the other. Till then, she is using a good stat Gladius and gun to conserve TP.

Evil Curst - Gradual TP decrease
Hildebear's Cane - Foie power increases 30%
Hildeblue's Cane - Barta power increases 30%
Sorcerer's Cane - Gi-level class tech power increases 20% & TP cost decreases by 10%
Psycho Wand - Hard class tech power increases 30% & TP cost decreases
The Sigh of God - Zonde power increases 30%
Madam's Umbrella - Shifta & Deband range x2
Madam's Parasol - Resta & Anti range x2
Twinkle Star - Simple class tech power increases 20%
Striker of Chao - Shifta & Deband range x2
Prophet's of Motav - RA-level tech power increases 20%
Dark Bridge - Grants power increases 10% and megid penetrates. TP cost decreases
Marina's Bag - Resta & Anti range x2
Nei's Claw (Ill Gill Drop) - Simple class tech power increases 20%
Rika's Claw - Gi-level class tech power increases 20%
Demonic Fork - Megid penetrates
(Blue Burst Only)
Glide Divine - Zalure & Jellen range x2, Tech Resistances +15, can fully restore TP every 10 minutes
Solferino - Resta range x2
Siren Glass Hammer - Gibarta tech power increases by 50%; Gradually decreases TP
Principal's Gift Parasol - Resta, Anti, Shifta, and Deband Range x2
Also, as you might know, merges help increase stats as well.
Merges are made by collecting two different parts.
1. The Barrier, and 2. The Amplifier
i.e. you take RED BARRIER and equip it, then select Amplifier of Foie, you will create FOIE MERGE. Which boosts Foie's power by 30%. But some amplifiers will be titled by a color.
i.e you take Blue Barrier and select use on the Amplifier of Blue. You will create BLUE BARRIER which boosts Barta, Gibarta, and Rabarta by 20%.
So it really depends what you need more, a single tech boost with 30% extra damage, or all of that elements damage to be boosted by 20%.
And a Dark Falz murderer (for his final form atleast), it's outstanding to wear Club of Laconium (+40% foie damage and Foie Merge (+30% foie damage)...... that's awesome.

I'm a FOmar, I personally like the MACE OF ADAMAN, even though this is quite easy to find in boxes in ULT forest. If you have a high barta lvl, this raises barta's attack power by 40%! mix that with some amplifiers!
