Beat time doesn't really do anything. It's used to tell the time online, but I don't know how that works. It's also used for the Heaven Punisher's special attack. That's pretty much all it does, unless I missed something.

It is also for Morning Glory. Beats are just basically a common time in PSO so you don't actually mess up telling the time due to time zones. It also affects some weapons and the bonuses they get.
