Are there combo's you can link up with a partner in this game, or all fighting is independent?

Independent, though guns can flinch enemies as Parn likes to incessently rant about for hours on end, which makes his job marginally safer in B Rank.

Ahh, man it would be cool though. Add more depth to the game and even more action.

I think it'd be neat if you could combine status effects to make better ones. Like the Foie DoT and the Light Confusion would combine into a stronger DoT/Confusion effect, and the Ice freeze and the Dark Infection combined into some kind of gravity well arround that enemy that sucked enemies to it.

Yeah, I have no clue what the hell I'm talking about either.

I suppose I vaguely miss being able to combo Photon Blast attacks for boosted effects/damage.

Just call Genis for the gravity well. And get the characters in Adrenaline mode, INDIGNATION JUDGEMENT!

Well, dispite the fact that there aren't any combos added in the game doesn't count for the fact that if communication is good with your teammates, you can't pull one off.

Of course, it would be a makeshift combo where you or your buddy goes in first to attack and whomever is second follows suit. It's ghettofied, but it works.

Combination techniques and skills are interesting though. Makes the action all the more greater..

make combos whit PA and then MB it... o its not FFXI. think people would go crazy if they hade to make combos whit random people.
