"Extra lag due to voice chat now and then" implies the game was worse off because of the Voice Chat, which is nonsense.

He/she is just an idiot (Note I put a smiley thereby making my statement non-argumentative)
wow did anyone ever tell you that you over analyze things?

secondly i dont really see how voice chat is more efficient since anything you would need to know is on your hud.its not like a fps where you cant see team mates health and one would need to call for help. most of the chatting that goes on during gameplay is rather short.
For someone accusing me of over analyzing everything, you sure are quick to stuff words down my throat. I never once said Voice Chat was more effecient. I said that implying the game would have been better off without Voice Chat was idiotic, because it only added another medium for communication, and played zero part in lagging the game.
Alisha what he says is true. For any action-based game, voice chat can mean the difference between life and death. I forsee problems, but not voice chat induced lag.

Actually, certain voice programs due cause lag in gameplay. The best prgram I would recommend using is Ventrillio since I have not had any problems with it on any online game that I've played. As for voice chat in psu, really its not needed. PSU is a fast paced action rpg, but its no FPS or RTS.

Me and a buddy logged on our vent server to play PSU the first day we got it. We haven't used it since. Its not that its a hassle or too hard or whatever. But typing in PSU is too much fun. Especially with the emotes and text bubble styles. Plus even though things get kinda hairy at times, there has never been a need to say something so urgent that we needed voice chat. So we just stopped logging on whenever we play.

So, as long as your using the right program and not on stoneage6k, you should be good.

The 360 has a built in Voice Chat feature. I believe that was meant as the scope of this topic, and not 3rd party programs for the PC.

You bring up a very valid point however.
