is there any spilt screen for the xbox or ps2 at all? and can you play offline with your own characters? i dont have the beta nor have i played it. deffently looking forward to it, but if it doesnt have some of thoes fetures, then it might ruin things for me.

No split screen whatsoever, also offline characters and online characters are completely seperate this time

No split screen on any platform and you CAN play a custom character in offline mode but there's no real story or anything of the like.

There's no split screen. You can play offline with your own characters, but not the same characters you use online.

man... my favorite part of pso one and two was just playing with my buddys and leveling up together. this is a big upset for me.

it's not like sega intended on not adding a offline multiplayer option it's just that pc and ps2 versions of the game wouldn't be able to support it.

well sure they wouldn't. but playstation has the multi-tap, and the pc has never had split screan, si? but uhh. some of my friends are not really rich i should say... and dont have the money for online. not to mention that they all dont have cable.
