Ok I know why Im not getting rares but I will explain, and hopefully I can get back to playing again. I am a legit pso player I have the gamecube version since day 1. Ive never played online due to the fact of hackers and FSOD. Im level 152 and every item I have is legit.

I havent played the game in 2 years but found someone who is tired of WOW and wants to play something deiiferent so i suggested Pso. After spending money on a new memory card to put his character, I showed him the ropes. I ended up going on vacation and let hime borrow my gamecube and stressed he get to ultimate so we could find good rares.

After I came back he was quite upset saying the game sucked cuz the rare drops are so rediculous he couldnt see playing the game any longer and not finding anything. I was puzzled and he said he made it to ultimate and put about 90 hourse in it and has not found any rares of any kind.

I talked him into playing again with me syaing we would find some ill use my spread needle and blast through enemies. 2 hours later nothin not even a photon drop or anything he happens to get killed in the ruin so i go to revive him and notice i have 121 moon atomoziers!

I commented on how its not possible that happened and my game glitched or something, and lo and behold he says "oh I bought a gameshark so i could get to ultimate". He said he accidentally got on my character once and because of it saved I have stacked items.

Well what im hoping is that theres a way i can get rares again. If someone can please help my Level 152 cahracter I have played offline over 300 hourse legitimatly. As of right now I have noticed i have 99999 meseta but i had that anyway but i have over 100 on some items. eveything else i have is legit and what I haved had. Will Sellin the items back to 10 and under get me rares again? Please help. Thanx.

The above instances are why you can't find rares. Get rid of the stacked items, so that you don't have any in your inventory, otherwise you'd never find a another rare.

Of course, as soon as you get rid of the stacked items (ie. make each item 10 or below again, like normal), you'll be able to find rares again.

Probably also worth noting that this incident only applies when the leader of the game (or player 1 offline) has stacked items. I'm fairly sure that you can still find rares, as long as the leader has no stacked items/ weapons with 100% in more than 3 areas or % above 100 in an area/ mags a higher level than they should be.

When you guys say "Stacked" you mean over 10 or more than 1 of anything?
