If you're a Force and you play like me, you don't get hit a lot, using your spells to stay ranged and supporting the team. However, if you play like me and don't run out of the room, you also tend to run into those situations in which you get smacked. This, in turn, runs up your Photon Blast bar, but never enough to get a full Photon Blast. Here's how the support works: as soon as one of your Hunter or Ranger friends gets and activates *their* Photon Blast, press Y (while the seal is up) to donate about 20 points of your Photon Blast meter to make their PB stronger.

Bottom line: a Force will get a little on their PB bar, but rarely fill it up. Therefore, they ought to use the power donation thing to help the Photon Blasts that do activate.

Old news and old trick, yes, but I rarely see people do this online.

Wow! Only forces can do this? When the seal is up? Can it be down?

Everyone can do this.
Must have meant that it is best for forces to do this as a type of support if they have no PB worthy of a combination blast, or rarely get to use them.

personaly..i dont even try to stay ranged from enimies. i find that i can constantly dish out spells if i stay in close range and dodge, instead of the long pause of techs while you turn to run

Techniques can be a powerful tool, if you learn how to use them properly. Each enemy reacts to each element differently (all advanced players know this). Forces are designed to be support for players. Building on your "mind" abilities and finding high powered disks is the way to go. I never bother with weapons anymore wth forces. The way they designed Episode 1 & 2, it seems that forces are a bit more powerful, and if properly raised, can hold thier own in battle...

This isn't really a new way to support, you could do this in version 1 if I remember correctly. And you can also press "Y" up to three total times to give even more of your PB to your friend.

Another old trick: If you activate a Photon Blast during the "seal" (powerup where you can't speak), it'll make a combination Photon Blast. Everyone can link they're photon blasts together, so try it out.

And thanks for the tip Kupi, I'll remember that.

Nope, no pictures here. Move along.

I always do this, but I don't think anyone notices! I've never gotten thanked for it.

I never used a PB until around level 45. O_O
