Whenever I try, nothing happens. I've only created a character in Extra mode, if that's why. For instance, I'm supposed to hit the spacebar to hear a voice sample. Nothing. Any reason why? I'm getting irritated at how many times I've recreated a character because the voice is fucked up beyond belief.

Are you pressing the enter button or what ever you have for the basic attack button? Thats what I do anyway. BTW you wouldn't happen to be from the UCTF would you?

UCTF? Wha? Might be, but I don't remember what it is... Kinda braindead this month.
Also, it tells me to hit SPACE. The button I have for attack... No, don't think I tried that for whatever reason. I'll try it when I get home.

Yea I have a controller for the PC so I use the attack button to (down arrow) to sample the voices.

A controller really makes things easier. I can really vouch for that. So, in case it doesn't work, can you describe some of the voices (male human) for me? I don't care about the pitch edits, that's simple to figure out how it'd sound, just the base sound.

Ok, then I'd probably want voice 6 for one of my characters. Thanks.

If you have a type of sound card that does anything more than 2.1 audio (like a 5.1 or 7.1) set the mixer to forced 2.0/2.1 mode in your sound card's application.
That solved it on my Audigy when I had a 5.1 speaker setup.

Interesting... Well, at least now, knowing this, my character won't sound so... odd.
EDIT: Yeah, I have a 5.1 Audigy. I'll try that.
