This problem has probably been driven into the ground, but I can't figure out how to do it, I've searched old topics, the guides, and even other sources on the net, but I'm still having trouble. I bet it's something simple I'm overlooking but I dunno.

Basically, I'm playing on Hard (though I have VHard unlocked) and all the quests are beaten and open to me. I tried selecting Dr. Osto's Research from the start, Montague wouldn't make my weapon. Ok, then I tried replaying Doc's Secret Plan. Beat it, then went back to him again. Nothing. Ok. I tried talking to him on Unsealed Door (I'm not Xbox version btw, PC). Again, not working.

What do I need to do?

well then somethings wrong with your game. all you have to do is beat docs secret plan then talk to him in the unsealed door quest where he is standing next to the warp to the principle. if you have the enemy body part he'll say he'll make you a weapon.

also, you dont have to be on any particular difficulty to do it. any of them works as long as you did docs secret plan. and yes, you have to talk to him in the unsealed door quest, even if you are on gamecube. its the same for both that and xbox.

O.k. that my be a stupid question:
Do you have the enemy Part at you when you talk to DocMo?

If you Talk to DocMo while you have the Enemy Part at your inventory, does a select menu pop up in which you see your inventory or doe's he only say something like "if you have a enemy part, i can make a weapon for you" (or something like that) (actually i don't read it anymore, i only "click" till the menu is open and chose the part)

No, he only talks about Elenor and "if you bring me one" etc. etc. And I'm using regular PC version, obviously. I just wish I knew wtf the deal is. I just tried one last thing, doing the quests in that order on the guide: Battle Training, Claiming A Stake, Magnitude of Metal, etc. That did not work either.

I'm so ticked off now...

Regular PC version?

Wouldn't be that Ver1 or Ver2?
I thought on ver1 and ver2 there wasn't enemy parts.
(correct me if i'm wrong)

And you are sure you have an enemy part in your inventory when you talk to docmo? (not in bank)

Beat Doc's Secret Plan again then immediately go to Unsealed Door. Do not go into any other quests. Bring along the enemy part. Talk to him.

Yes Kojiro, its version 1 I believe. But Enemy Parts do exist. And yes, lol, I wouldn't make the silly mistake of not having the part on me when I talked to him. I have a Dragon Claw which I kept with me when I talked to him, never worked.

However, Splash, I will try what you suggested. Only problem is, I dont have the part anymore. I aired my plight online and one user offered to trade my Dragon Claw part for his Dragon Claw weapon. Next time I get a part though, I will try that and let you know.

i just did all normal missions and u get all missions again to do as many times as u want and then juts go to Doctor montague
